I live in the country and the only thing I have not been able to break him of is chasing vehicles up the road. To him its a game. He stays in the ditch and runs beside them. I am affraid he still might get hurt but don't want to tie him up. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Besides penning him in there is very little you can do, until he gets hurt. Maybe you could erect road signs warning motorist of the possible hazard - vehicle attacking dog, use alternative route. HAHaha. But I recommend that you should get him a play mate, dogs do get bored, so keep him occupied.

Oh dear!

Has the dog been obedience trained? You may want to put him in a fenced area, and have a layer of gravel or concrete around with the fence to keep him from digging.

Good luck!
