I'm guessing that adopting would be less expensive than buying right? Well adopting would be nice say if you get it from a shelter to give it a nice place to stay and take care. But if you are getting it from a friend, neighbor, or store it would be better to buy one. the $13.99 shouldn't be a problem from all those priceless days would have with the hamster. it all comes down to how much you have and if you can afford to have one.

I would adopt one and give it a home, but I've never heard of a dwarf Hamster, so a shelter might not even have one.

adopt, those pet store hamsters will be bought up quickly. shelter hamsters are just as good and need a home more.
