My 6 month old Bichon Frise is scratching it's ears a lot. A couple weeks ago we found a whole bunch of wax in his ears. And we got it out with Q-tips. But he still continues to scratch. What do I need to do to get him from needing to scratch his ears?

I am going to put an ad in the paper for my three dogs but I don't know how much to put down for a price. I have a purebred Brindle Boxer who is 3 years old.(Male)
I have a Creme colored Chihuahua who is also purebred. He is a seven year old male. (longhaired)
Then I have a Schnoodle. Schnauzer and poodle mix. She is about a year old and is black and white. She's very good with kids and other animals.
I just need some estimates on pricing them. The minimum fee is 25 according to the paper services. Thanks for the help!

The kitten is approx 3 months olds. When we picked him up we were given dry and wet food (iams) and I've tried just wet and tried heating it and I tried just dry and a combination. He just does not want to eat or drink and he is sneezing. I am not sure if I should do more ?

My son aged 2 got on my kitchen unit, and managed to lose one of my fish. As i cant stand them, and they freak me out i had to ring around my mates for some one to come and find it. Managed to get my brothers round and they found it. The fish had been out of the water for about 20-25 maybe even 30 mins. Its alive! swimming in its tank, will it be ok, and how come it survived that long???

It not only mutilates the cat, but causes bad behaviors (like not using the litterbox) and causes trauma/stress. Why would someone want to do that to their pet when there are better alternatives that won't hurt them?

Our 6-year-old lab mix is becoming intolerant of our 10-month-old daughter now that she is crawling after the dog. The dog has growled at her several times and snapped at her twice. The dog has never bitten anyone hard enough to draw blood. These incidents seem to happen when the dog feels "cornered" by the baby. The baby just wants to touch the dog. How can we stop the aggressive dog behavior?

I have an 18 year old female dog who has been operated 5 times from removal of tumors (has three right now), was in chemotherapy, and who experienced her first epilepsy about three days ago. She has had two more since then because she is on medication. She has been crying, lost her sight, and cannot stand up by herself. She needs attention 24/7 which I don't mind. But today she has been crying too much, screaming for pain. She is going to the doctor for help. Should I put her to sleep?? My sister is giving up, she is suffering too much. I feel that the issue of euthanasia is here...I don't want to give up on her but she is suffering too much.

I have just adopted another dog and his eating habits are rather scary. He eats as if he has never seen food before I know this is not the case as my sister owned him before and he was well looked after.I have 2 other dogs who actually stop eating their food when they see him eating his as he ravishes it so quickly. What can I do to make him eat slower and enjoy his food.My other 2 are very delicate eaters quite odd as they are all choccie labs.Any advice would be appreciated.

I have a four year old Bearded Collie who howls like crazy when my roommate plays the piano...but never makes a sound when my son or daughter play it. Does this mean that my dog just thinks my roommate sucks?

My cat, Joey, refuses to eat any type of wet food (even the most expensive ones). He will only eat dry food (any flavour). Over Xmas I really wanted him to try some fresh turkey etc - but he sniffed at it and looked at me as if to say, 'yeah right!' How do I introduce this type of food more into his diet. Is it healthy 4 him to keep eating dry food? Many thanx

I keep her in this mini face in the backyard. Whenever she see's me, her tail wags fast like she's ready to play. Whenever I let her lose, she jumps on me, very energetic. She tends to lick my hands and face a lot. I don't let her inside because I don't want her to poop and pee inside the house.

I got a couple of questions...

How much should I feed my dog a day?
Is it good to give her water with little milk in it?
She wants to come inside, but I need her to be outside (read above)...What can I do?
When I play with her outside, I can't even throw a stick/ball so she can fetch...she's too busy jumping on me, and licking me hands and all that...What other ways can I play with her?

My female cat isnt acting like herself.I have two cats at home,1 of them is a pure bred siamese and i dont know what the other one is.We found out our cats had roundworms so we had to move them outside for a while. Before we moved them outside,my female cat, which is the older one,was being very aggressive towards my male kitten. She has always been like this to all oher cats. When we moved the two outside, she started warming up to our six month old kitten. Now,she takes him wherever she goes, even when she goes out to claw up a tree and mark her terratory with him. They begin to sleep together and cuddle, they even rub their heads together now and then. She still gets kind of grumpy sometimes, and smacks him in the face, but other than that she has really changed. She also is alot more terratorial, she beats the heck out of other cats. Why is she acting like this...she used to hate other cats.Somone tell me if there is something i should be concerned about.

My son have guppies. They are multiplying and starting to over crowd the tank. I don't want to flush them. I'd rather have something that will eat them. Also need something to help keep the tank clean. I'm cleaning it every week.

I went to pick up and play with my hamster when I noticed he had an area that didn't have any hair and there was a black thing hanging on his skin. When I saw it, I was disgusted and put him back down. Could it be a skin disease or something else? I still don't get how he's having this, I always take good care of him. Seeing him like this now is a real tearbreaker because it's so sad. I really want to do something about it, I was thinking about bringing him to a vet tommorow. I was so shocked but also very sad. I don't want my hamster to die.
