I am going to put an ad in the paper for my three dogs but I don't know how much to put down for a price. I have a purebred Brindle Boxer who is 3 years old.(Male)
I have a Creme colored Chihuahua who is also purebred. He is a seven year old male. (longhaired)
Then I have a Schnoodle. Schnauzer and poodle mix. She is about a year old and is black and white. She's very good with kids and other animals.
I just need some estimates on pricing them. The minimum fee is 25 according to the paper services. Thanks for the help!

Okay everyone don't freak! I'm not selling them for money I'm selling them because I'm moving and I can't take them with me! They are not going to a shelter or rescue because I refuse to dump my dogs off with people I don't know. I am going to sit down with anyone who calls on the ad though. FOR THE LAST TIME THE DOGS CAN"T GO FOR FREE ACCORDING TO MY LOCAL NEWSPAPER!!!!

You're going to be hard-pressed to find someone who will buy a new dog that is not a puppy out of the newspaper, especially if you're looking to make some money off of it. If you care at all about your dogs, try a little harder to get them into good homes, no matter what you, personally, get back in return. If they have behavior or health problems, it is your duty as a pet owner to let potential new owners know about them. Otherwise, you do everyone involved a huge disservice, and your dogs may end up on the street or stuck in the pound. Meanwhile, hopefully you won't get any more pets. It's pretty clear you aren't suited for the responsibility.

Give them to a good home if you do not want them. If you just need a few bucks go to Walmart they are always hiring. People buy puppies, you will be wasting your time and money for the news paper ad to try and sell them.

These are your family pets and you'd "like to" get rid of them? Personally I wouldn't pay anything for a dog that's over a few weeks old.bc if i wanted an older dog i would go to a rescue or shelter.I think you should stop being selfish and forget about money and just find your dogs a good home.

WHY DO YOU WANT TO SELL YOUR POOR DOGS???

you should give them to a shelter if nobody takes them

don't sell them for money, put up 3 different adds for free dog to good home or somthing like that,

I really hope that you arnet selling them just for the money because dogs are living creatures that love their owners.

money in return for your dogs is the last thing at this point. Think about the recipient having to spend hundreds of dollars per year caring for you babies!!!(vet visits and food and treats and trips out) Just find good homes , people willing to take proper care of them . go with the minumum and meet the parents to be and check out the home they will move to.

You shouldn't be asking "how much should I ask for them?" a better question would be "How can I find good homes for them?"

Honestly, I'd contact breed specific rescue groups or your local animal shelter. They would be better able to find suitable homes for your pets than a newspaper add.

How horrible for those dogs!! Go to petfinders.org and place them up for adoption. Listing is free and post them for $25 each to find them new homes.

$50 per dog and SCREEN homes WELL!! I hope the idea is not to make some money off the sale.
I LOVE it when people want to "GET RID" of their pets. Don't get anymore.

Are any of them registered? If they're registered, then their price will be much more than just "$50". You could also look into breed rescues.
