Your two ducks will make a meal of your golfish in two minutes.

Why do you think that wild ducks sits on lakes?

They love fishes...

Depends on the size of the fish. If they are small enough to be eaten I'd bet they're already gone by now. Ducks eat a variety of aquatic life such as aquatic plants, fish, insects, and small amphibians so chances are they're not just hanging around for a little goldfish. If you find your goldfish missing perhaps try a few koi in your pond...only giant mutant ducks are large enough to eat a full grown koi.

As for them leaving once the fish are eaten that can be debated in my opinion. If they begin to think of your pond as a potential source of easy food they'll most likely return time and time again.

ducks will eat any fish small enough to eat and they will kill the larger fish even though they can't swallow them....best not to keep ducks and fish pond together

I don't think the ducks will eat the goldfish but if they do then they'd leave after.

they might actually eat them, unless the fish has somewhere to hide so that the ducks don't get them
