Our year old female selcata turtle escaped her outdoor space 5 days ago. We live outside of Houston where the weather is usually mild, but can get into the 30ies during winter. What is the best way to go about looking for her?

Do some of you really think they sit in crate all day at shows, or are home wrapped in Saran wrap so they don't get dirty????

People talk about how dogs should have jobs and not be "show dogs". Do you even know what you are talking about????? Do you even think about how people might finish the dog, then go on to get many working titles??? Or how many show dogs are therapy dogs. Or how many work at home or on farms???????

Those people down on show dogs......what does YOUR dog do???

I have 3 bowls of water for him, in various places, and he takes a bath in each one, which leaves him no drinking water. I do not know what to do.

this is something i always wanted to do. i once got 4 of those fighting fish that aren't supposed to be put together, but i did it anyways, it was quite a show. i also wanna get a snake and bird in a cage that would be something to see, at least i hope it would be. i would hate to waste the money and they don't even fight.

hi, i have just gotten a goldfish and i was wondering how to your prepare the bowl, like how long does the water need to sit before the fish can be put into it and how do you put the fish from the bag to the bowl?

She does NOT have a urinary infection - I've had that checked. My cat is 10 and is and has always been an indoor only cat and has had the run of the house but lately she has been having moments of insanity for a lack of better words. Racing through the house for no reason and attacking the curtains and now peeing under the tree and on furniture!! I've had her since birth but she is about to learn how to fly if I can't get her to stop this behavior. Can cats get loopy in their old age? I'm calling the vet on Tuesday but wondering if anyone has experienced any of this with cats.

Vet's not open today or tomorrow. Worms are visible. Should he be quarantined pending further instruction from the vet? Bought some deworming stuff, dunno if it works or not...just got him yesterday. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks and happy holidays!

Mature female spayed siamese approaches shower when it's running and looks in. Has been known to actually jump in the shower briefly. After shower is off climbs in tub and meows pleading. Sniffs around bath mat. I thought water was a problem but she has plenty of fresh by her food. I placed a cup of fresh water in tub and she ignores it mostly. Stranger yet is the fact we have well water in the shower with a stinky sulphur content we don't drink nor does she. Are they ever attracted to sulphur? Late at night when I go into the bathroom she hops in the tub and starts crying.

My dog, a 2 yr. old german shepherd, has run into things in the dark. He also is very scared while riding in the car at night. When meeting traffic, he hides from the headlights. Does the light hurt his eyes or can he just not tell what it is?

we bought a American Red nose pit. she does not have papers but she comes from a pure bloodline. some of her family have papers but we have no way to find out how to find the people that the papers.

i was told to feed my kitten more as its getting older at 13 weeks and i feed him and then went to feed him again but he wasnt intrested in the food and his belly seems a bit swollen he has been to the toilet for a poo but can there bellys be a lil more swollen in a few hours i would take him to the vets but i cant because the time and none will be open do you think hell be ok ?

It happened yesterday. I was giving Bobby, my German
Sheppard his morning walk when he took off chasing Fluffy the neighbor's cat. He wasn't able to catch Fluffy but when I called Bobby back he kept running into things like the fire hydrant and a tree. Bobby couldn't find his way back to me, so I went after him and when I held his head up I notice that both his contact lens were gone. Bobby's optometrist (eye doctor) is out of town over the holidays so there no way I can replace them . Bobby seems to be miserable. Any help with this problem, would be very much appreciated.

any one who can do this the best gets 10 points...
1 animal beginning with A, 2 animals beginning with B, 3 animals beginning with C, 4 animals beginning with D,....
so on so on
you get it. but when you reach M (the middle letter, you go back down again, so M would be 13 animals, then you go back down; like N would be 12 animals. hard eh?
the only ones you can miss out are x, j, k, n, p, q, u, i, v.

My dad's fox terrier got my full blood basset hound. I had planned to breed her in the future, because she is a beautiful Basset, but I heard that if she has puppies from another breed, her bloodline will be messed up and most likely any other litters she has will come out looking similar to non basset breed. Is this true???
