I adopted a 14 week old male Border Collie x Dalmatian around two weeks ago. He settled in with my 4 month old female Lab and my 5 yr old GSD x Lab very well. Last week he lost his appetite. I took him to the vet and they said that he just had an upset tummy because I changed the food over to what I was feeding (Science Diet) too quickly. Then he got it back a few days later. I wasn't worried until just 4 days ago he got his appetite back but he was eating EVERYTHING. From cat food to trying to EAT dirt and balls? He was then VERY aggressive towards ANYTHING and ANYONE! He was growling at Lili (GSD x) and Molly (Lab) and me and my cats. I wasn't worried too much as Molly went through an "aggressive" time when I brang her home. He is very restless and he has mild seizures. He only started having these seizures yesterday. I'm very worried and can't stand to see my boy seizing and acting so aggressive and fearless! He was so sweet and kind when we brang him home.

Cats will usually do something to the mouse to signifacantly slow them done. That way the mouse is still alive and more fun to play with but less likely to get away. What is it that the cat does to the mouse and can the mouse survive?

Yes i can imagine pit bulls being thought of as dangerous dogs who are mean and potentially deadly, and there being a million at the animal shelters. BUT CHIHUAHUAS??? Why so many of them at the pounds? I never heard of chihuahuas as being mean dogs. is it because of the e. coli outbreak at taco bell? people are scared the taco bell dog will give them e. coli?

Because when i'm sephoning the water out about 3/4 of the way, i can see my water clearly needs to be changed completly. Is it because I wait too long to clean it? I wait about 1 1/2 week to clean, cause I also know, fish don't like to be in different water so much, it's stressful for them. so any help would be good.

My 3 year old horse just had to undergo surgery for sand colic and i was wondering what works best to prevent future occurances. He is fed off the ground but the entire area i live in is always sandy. Does sand clear work or is there something better out there?

My Cocker Spaniel bit my sister in the face after she tried to push him off the couch. He is completely trained and is a pure breed. I feel that he may just need a more patient home. Please let know what are my options. I feel like putting a dog to sleep should be the last options if ever.

I have chow husky mix and we were told that her mother was an alaskan husky and that her dad was a chow. The breeders father had recently gotten a chow off the streets and he got his husky pregnant. The puppy's for the most part do not look husky. She is black and has a husky tail and NO purple tongue. The vet said that she is probably a teddy bear chow..... Does this sound right?

My dogs teeth need to be cleaned, I brush them but they need a good cleaning. The thing is I'm worried about putting him to sleep to get them clean. I heard that this is very dangerous. Hes only 4 and healthy, but its still scary. Is there another way it can be done or is putting them to sleep for this really that dangerous? Thanks

We just brought home a new puppy - I know that a puppy often cries when its left alone or when it is in a crate, but our puppy whimpers constantly. He whines when he's eating, when he's walking, when we holding him, etc. We just wanted to make sure he was ok - he has been eating, but we've had him for 12 hours and he has yet to do number 2 (he's gone number one in our yard a bunch of times - good dog!).

My golden retriever will be one at the end of the month so she is still a puppy. She usually gets into everything but she has left the tree alone and when I sat on the floor wrapping presents she completely left me alone. Even when I took breaks she left everything as it was and just chewed on her toys. This is totally not what I was expecting. Do dogs just sense when things are important enough that they had better not interfere?
