Don't give your puppy away, its not the puppy's fault he contracted Sarcoptic Mange.
Look all you have to do is get a plastic apron, and some rubber glove (dish washing gloves). Bath your dog in long sleeves, shower cap and long pants with socks. * the more parts of your body covered the better you are* Bath your puppy then, after your done, discard your clothes in the washer and you have minimized the possibility of contracting Sarcoptic Mange.
Mite infections on humans are self-limiting (ie they go away on their own) as the mite is not able to complete its life cycle on the "wrong" host. The condition is extremely itchy, though, while it lasts. The mites are most active where skin is warm (in bed and where clothing is snug).
Be careful with the bath (dip) you give your dog to treat this condition. It may be irritable to human skin.
IF A SARCOPTIC MANGE ANIMAL IS PRESENT IN THE HOME,
IT IS A GOOD IDEA TO WASH ANY BEDDING IN
THE WASHING MACHINE (OR REPLACE WITH NEW BEDDING),
AND WASH ANY COLLARS OR HARNESSES.
Check out this site, it has a ton of helpful information.

Like all the answers so far, get the gloves and give it the baths. it is not that much trouble. Get some thin gloves Like doctors and dentists use so you can pet her and show her a bit of love. And give her treats before and after the baths. in a few weeks it should be gone. I am a dog lover and have been though all kinds of things. But please do not give her to a shelter.. how would you really feel if you do?

Honestly not a big deal, although i do know what kind of ewwww shakes this can cause, use the gloves and long sleeve clothing to wash the dogs. And then once their treatments are done, if you are still feeling ewwww about this call your dr. tell him what has happened and he will give you a lotion for yourself. Bathe, wash bedding, and after bath put on lotion..

NO! Don't do that! If you do, no one will give him a home! LONG Rubber gloves! PLEASE don't give the puppy up... if you do, you'll realize what you lost and if you keep the pup and it turns out to be a great dog, you'll be kicking yourself for even THINKING of giving him away.

Long, thick rubber gloves. It's just that simple! Thinking of giving up a puppy for such a small reason.... I hope he/she's okay..

Are you an animal?
Why can't you come in contact with mange?
And if your other dog is being treated what about contact with him? I don't get it

can't you wear rubber gloves. If not then take the puppy to a groomer or have a friend or family do it.
