Hello,

My cat is apparently overweight, exactly 15 lbs. She has lived with us for a long time now, and is pretty old. Full black.

What should I do to lose her jelly?

I have done tons of research on the breed from the day my puppy (Kya) was born so I know a lot about the breed. The one thing I can't find anything on is normal growth patterns for Labs. Would anyone happen to know where to find something in inches for height and pounds for weight? Kya is almost 14 weeks old (born September 13th) and I measured her last night. She stands 15 inches tall from floor to shoulder. I don't know her weight but by height, is that normal? She just seems so big to me for so young since famles are only supposed to be 21 1/2 to 23 1/2 full grown! She also has VERY large paws and pads on her paws. Both of her parents were within normal ranges for size for Labs according to the AKC but I know that is no indicator for her size because other relatives could have been larger. Just out of curiousity. I don't care how big she gets, I love her dearly!!! Thanks!

Her name is Gypsy, shes a gray tiger striped cat, but we started noticing knots or lumps on her chest and belly area that are just getting bigger and bigger every day. We cant afford to take her to the vet, so i was just wondering if anyone might have a clue as to what it may be?

I just recently got interested in dog food, and all this time I thought I was feeding my dog "high-quality" dog food (Purina, Royal Canin) . Once I started getting interested in what manufacturers put in dog food, I discovered what I was feeding my dog wasn't at all high-quality! My dog is almost 2 now. I had him on these low-quality foods since he was a puppy, and I am thinking maybe his puppy growth might be a bit stunted? I will soon switch my dog to a REAL high-quality food, but right now I am wondering how much harm will 1 and a half years of bad dog food do to a dog?

I am looking for a dog toy that is as follows:

-red
-rubber
-jack shaped
-with 4 sides
-on two sides of the jack part there are little "o"s and the other two sides have lines

it is not the jackeroo, or the knog ones....

my dog loves it is her favorite toy and it is pretty chewed on and I am looking for a new one. I can not find one in any store near me. any help would be great.

(oh and she does know the difference between the other ones she has a jackeroo one and will not play with it)

They have bad breath and have less energy. I can't afford to take them to the vet if it's just a cold that they will get over. But if anyone knows if these are symptoms of something worse please tell me.

He's a very energetic dog who doesn't listen very well. He is, however, only 9 months old. He also likes to go into the bathroom garbage and eat kleenex......yuck. Will getting him fixed help these problems? I do intend to get him fixed within the next week or so regardless of whether this will help the problems or not. He really is a test of patience somedays. I love him to bits, though. He's a pretty cool dog all in all, but just needs a lot more attention than I can afford. My girlfriend and I are really trying to make him listen. I really need to get him to some obedience classes. I hope I can find one here after Christmas. I know I'm starting to babble on about this, but I do this when I'm tired and boy does he tire me out.

We've had her since she was 8 weeks old. She' 12 1/2 years old now. She's a yellow lab, a very true and dear family member. She has recently gotten to the point where she can no longer get up on her own and she bearly can walk. It hurts to see her like this. She is still eating and drinking. Tonight I noticed her hind legs are swelling. - I'm in tears and heart broken. Just seeking some advise here - thx.

I'm planning to buy a dachshund for our kids, however, I'm afraid of dog bites. Have you been bitten or know of anyone bitten by a dachshund?

If you ride in the Hunters, in your opinion what is the best horse to use. I think thoroughbreds are best because they have a naturally elegant look to them that always catches a judges eye, plus they are light on their feet, which gives them that floaty pace judges love. Most TB's have great form over fences too. Give reasons for whichever breed you say is best.

Most of my corals are plain white and real (of course, no longer live). I want to dye them with dyes that won't harm the fish or invertibrates in the salt water tank. Suggestions?
