i picked my cat up from a friend when he was 2 months old. we have been having problems with him for he likes to attack and bite my sister and me. escpecially around the leg, calf and ankle. we have sterilized him as we heard that it would help..it is difficult to use water sprays as he randomly bites any time..i have to carry the water spray wherever i go..
Also, he doesnt like to be carried or to be put on my lap. he never comes up to my lap on his own accord. why is this so?..it seems that other cats does it.

I have 3 children, they are B 7,B 6, & G 5. Their father and I were discussing gift ideas and we were thinking of maybe a turtle or a frog. Definatley no snakes...not on my watch anyway!! If you have any other ideas or some information you feel I should know before getting my children a pet I would appreciate it. Thanks!

There are surveys to find what kind of dog you want to get. Is there a survey to type in characteristics of my dog and find possible breeds? (We've been told our dog is a lab mix, but have run into identical looking dogs. Too identical to be just a mix.)

I haven't. In fact I'm pretty sure there's no such thing.

With that in mind, why don't (some) people do proper research about the breed that would be most suitable for them?

Why not take into account the dog's needs and bear in mind that each breed was originally bred for a working purpose, so will be particularly inclined towards certain traits?

Maybe then people wouldn't be so surprised at having their houses trashed by a dog that was originally bred for intelligence and stamina, after it has been left alone in a 1-bedroom flat all day.

Just a thought...

If someone made you really angry would your urge be...
To scratch their eyes out....or
To punch them in the nose??!!

Very scientific this!!! ;-)

The younger one is having his first Christmas this year and has just discovered the tree. Our 2 year old loves lying in the tree and even goes to sleep in it. It's really cute. The little one is reaching up and trying to grab him. Does anyone elses cat love to lie in their tree?

I have a new puppy and I hate when she jumps on me before I go out. She gets dirt and paw prints on my pants and I hate that. I don't mind it when I'm in my sweat pants and we are playing around. How do I teach her when she can and when she cant, or is it best to just never let her do it? How do I teach her that?

I have 2 cats & the one is fine but the other one has started sneezing a lot, do they get normal colds that they shake off in a few days or should I take him to the vets?

Is there anything I can get for him to help?

Thanks,

worm medicine for the husky. The Interceptor is for 51-100lbs. Will it harm her if I give her a pill or should I cut it and give to her. This might sound like a silly question, but I just don't want to harm my dog. Any suggestion will be appreaciated.p.s. I order their medicine through 1-800 pet meds so it will take about a week or so for me to get hers. Thank you.

My 5 year old yorkie just started using the bathroom in the house. He's been potty trained and has done well for the past years but the trouble began about 2 months ago. He's even peed on myself! He does it openly in front of me and he's never behaved this way before. Not even as a puppy. The interesting thing is we just got another yorkie and she is doing well with being potty trained. Is he peeing because of her? How can I get him to stop?

want to become a Vet later on. I would like to know from Vets or people who have worked at a Vets office, what do I need to go through (school wise) to become one?

I know that I need to know science and maths but to what degree do I need to know?
I'm not that great at maths and am not too interested in maths.
I'm not BAD at science but I'm not too good at it either.

Also, what could I do to improve my school work in maths and science? I find learning about fractions and shapes very boring.

I'm not able to volenteer at my local RSPCA yet although I would really like to now.
What could I say to the people that work there to see if I could volenteer on the weekends? I obviously don't want money from them, just some experience and the ability to work with animals.

I've had this puppy since 6 weeks. She is almost a year old. Never abused. We love her but when we try to pick her up she pees everywhere. They say it is called submissive peeing. Okay now what?
