Hi there...consider confining the E. Mau kitten to a small room that is easily cleanable (e.g. bathrrom) with a litter box as well as food, water, bedding and toys to help with litter box retraining. Sometimes kittens need a little reminder who have a difficult time with litter box habits especially when there's competition for a litter box as well. As a general rule there should be one litter box for each cat plus an extra box as some cats prefer to urinate in one box and defecate in another. Cats are naturally territorial and sometimes they just don't like to share litter boxes even though they get along.
For urine odours/stains consider using a product called Nature's Miracle Just for Cats found worldwide at most pet stores. It's an enzymatic neutralizer which breaks down urine proteins (not covers them up) by pouring the solution on the affected areas and then allowing to air dry. Repeated applications are necessary for heavily soiled areas.
Here's more on the product itself:

It is maybe the place you have the litter tray that your cat doesnt like. Can you put it in a quiet place where it won't be disturbed? alternatively you could put your cat & the litter tray in the bathroom for a couple of days to see if it gets the message. as for the smell of wee, try warm water & bicarbonate of soda as that is good for neutralising odours.

Wow! That's definitely a tough issue. I wonder how many litter boxes you have because you should have a litter box for each cat. If you don't that could be contributing to the problem. Also make sure to clean it every day and change it every week. If you can be observant of when the kitten needs to go potty and try to direct to its box. Don't place it in their on your own, just make sure it knows where to go. Good luck to you!

Cats can be territorial. Like when a dog passes a tree and smells another dogs scent they pee to claim the tree for their own. Cats can be like this espesicially male ones. I agree with getting them a seperate litter tray and perhaps even letting them outside; my cat refuses to go inside for some reason. (maybe he's shy) but he always goes outside. Hope this helps

you need to make sure the litter tray is clean, maybe get a seperate one for your kitten, if it smells of other cats, it probably doesnt want to use it
