All roosters fight to protect their territory, claim a mate, or steal a mate from another rooster. It is their natural instinct to fight, look at a farm and you will find no more than two roosters wondering around the yard they have their own territory. Watch at the bird feeders and tell me if you dont see the roosters fighting over feed, watch in the spring when the wild birds are try to mate the roosters fight to show their strength and courage to win the female. To the people that purchase fowl at the grocery store how would you like to live for 8 to 10 weeks to dye and get eaten check it out. Why is it so hard to realize that animals has instincts that you will never change.

Well how about this lets me and you get in a ring and bit a claw the heck out of each other till one of us is dead. Most likely the other will die shortly after from some type of an infection as medical attention for a rooster is more costly then just raising another rooster. Sound cruel. All for the entertainment of people.
Train a rooster no I don't think they have the brain capacity. :)

Fighting is definatley cruel, and in some cases they have blades attached to their feet to fight with... incredibly disgusting!!!!
BTW.. you can train a rooster to do some things, u can train most animals to do certain things but it just has to be within in their capabilities (physical and mental)... you can train a rooster to walk to a spot and stay there for a minute etc but you cant train it to do your english homework :))

Absolutely yes! Put aside for the moment that they get their combs and toe cut off, then fight to a bloody, if not fatal conclusion. They are kept in cramped, often unsanitary, cages until their next fight. Then if they are in the US, when they are discovered, animal control has to euthanize the whole lot because they can no longer live peacefully with other birds.

this is a values question on countless ranges: playing: a lot of people locate playing to be immoral and function pushed to have it banned. very very nearly all fowl-battling (YA will ban the trouble-free term) includes playing. Animal Cruelty: recreation Roosters are in many circumstances injured or killed interior the approach, and whether some say that they are doing what they of course could do interior the wild, the contrivance of putting them in a ring for human entertainment strips away the organic high quality very very nearly entirely. as a result, decrease than animal cruelty regulations and ethical standards, a lot of people locate this objectionable. standards of habit and legality ebb and flow observing the civilization. issues that are somewhat trouble-free and criminal interior u.s. (e.g., women individuals donning tank tops and shorts) are seen unlawful in Muslim international places. donning a headscarf in school is against the regulation in France. Values law is trouble-free, whether it very very nearly consistently contains a curtailment of somebody's liberty (which of direction, is valued extra by ability of a few than others).

Yes, the baby rooster is trained to just fight. They are not allowed to have a regular family life.
On fight days, they fight and die, or they might win, nurse their wounds, to live to fight another time, and die. or live etc.

Heck no.
Having animals rip each other apart is very sane and humanitarian. All that blood. Gosh, I'll bet the animals love it!!! I'll bet they are just wanting to die a bloody, violent, painful death just so humans can watch.
What do you think, idiot?
