They may. Try not to interfere too much, as they'll just need to work out their dominance issues, and it's easier if you don't favor one over the other. Also, if they're not neutered yet, that will help.
Mine are all girls, and they did the same thing until they figured out who was the top dog.

Hi, sorry to hear you are going through this. Getting them neutered won't help. I had three males, father and two of his male offspings. The one male pup would want to fight the father and his brother quite frequently. They would fight and as the pups got bigger it was very nerve racking. Of course I would do whatever I had to to break up the fight.NEVER never will I have two dominant males again. They try to prove they are superior to the others.I was wondering, just curiosity, are they small or big dogs? I wish you all the best and hope neither dog ends up with some serious injury. You do not leave them all alone do you?

I agree with Libertydogtraining--most of the time, depending on breed and temperment, they suggest pairs of opposite sex. As long as there are two male dogs, there is going to be a relatively constant battle for dominance. Unless one of the dogs becomes extremely submissive, there may never be peace in your house. It sucks, but there are ways to help them as well as help you.
You could look into a behavorist and a dog trainer. They can do wonders! If not the behavorist, then at least the dog trainer. I am assuming the dogs are still puppies...and if so, they should be pretty easy to sway of their undesirable habits, depending on breed (and individual stubborness, of course). And even if they are older dogs, dont get too discouraged! Dog trainers work with all ages and all kinds of dogs, so they know what they are doing!
If you need any help, I have a friend who is a dog trainer by profession and I will forward her your contact information, if you would like to email it to me. cbuck90 @ yahoo [dot] com

WARNING! ******.com contains a virus. I am afraid there is very little that you can do. 2 dogs of the same sex are going to fight. Are they really fighting of play fighting? Sometimes puppies play fight, But in any case though it may temper down some as they get older it probably will never dissipate entirely.

how old are they? I they are in puberty they may just grow out of it... If they are evenly matched it will be most likely they will keep fighting unless they find an order. If they aren't evenly matched one may kill the other or they may figure out an order. But if say another dog jumps the fence and joins in the fight you will most definitly loose one. This happend to my firend and had to put down all ogf her dogs! When dogs fight they attack the one on the ground in the end they normally kill it. Probaly best to rehome one or see an animal behavourist that specialises in agression.

They probable gained't supply up yet i imagine it really is an common restoration. Are they fixed in any respect? this would connect the concern. a chum of mine has 3 Pit Bulls. 2 are father and son who are not fixed and the female who's. the daddy and son won't be able to be at the same time anymore because they wrestle or maybe the female needs in on it. i'd propose obedience classes for both one in all them that you'll more desirable ideal administration them. in the journey that they don't supply up once you're trying to get them to they could no longer appreciate you because the p.c.. chief. it is major with dogs. they don't own you, you own them and enable them understand. My canines continuously walks in the door in the back of me, is going the position I tell him to on the leash and sits at the same time as I pour his nutrition because he's conscious i'm the p.c.. chief. desire that helps!

There will always be competition for the alpha male. Do some reading on this, but you may have to give them up - they are prone to fighting and both want to "rule the roost". So this isnt good...especially if you have kids or will have one.

try neutering them, the b@lls are what produce testosterone, so take them away= lower testosterone level. i have two boys dogs that get along good, they play around but not mean.
take them for walks and make them walk right next to eachother (on a tandem leash for example) and they will learn to be equal plus its good for them and they will be happier dogs with less energy

call a local pet shop and or ask your vet. I know Petsmart has classes for animals, if they're young you could probably retrain them. call Petsmart and I'm sure they have a website
