NOTHING! Take the dog to the vet. You should not give the dog any medications without consulting with your vet. Also you do not know the underlying cause of the fever it could be a serious infection.

How do you know he has a fever? Some dogs get warm noses just from sleeping, but never ever give a dog tylenol, its a poison to their system, if you must wait, bath him in tepid water and don't let him outdoors after until he is completely dry.

If a dog has a fever, he needs to go to a vet ASAP- don't start trying to medicate him yourself! Also, make sure the dog actually HAS a fever- dog's temperatures are naturally much higher than ours, usually 100-102 F.

Please just take him to the vet!

Your best bet is to call a local animal hospital and have the dog checked out. the dog needs to be seen by a veternarian as soon as possible.

Ibuprofen is LETHAL to a dog so dont give. Call the vet and make sure the pup has enough water so doesnt get dehydrated! Good luck.

it would be nice to be able to afford a vet but like our own health care the price of visiting a vet or a human doctor can wipe out a family to maney vets and doctors trying to get ritch to afford a materialistic life style and not enouf about caring for the sick
