First off, the best thing to do would be to take him to the vet. Sometimes they will work out payment plans if money is an issue, and you can contact your local animal shelter and humane society to find out if there are any low cost clinics in your area.
Is the leg deformed or bent? If so, it's definitely broken and will absolutely need to be reset by a veterinarian. If not, it may still be broken, but the only way to tell would be to get an x-ray taken.
Will he let you touch it, or does he snap at you? His level of response tells you how much pain he's in. Will he let you move the limb? If he won't, the odd rise that it's actually broken.
It might just be sprained. Try confining him. Don't let him run around on it. If he's still limping in a day or two, you might just have to break down and take him to a vet.
Hope this helps!

Being the owner of four dogs I would suggest keeping the dog in a crate or quiet as possible for the remainder of the weekend. If he/she continues to show pain in the leg on Monday, then I would take them to the vet. What type of dog is it? How old is the dog? These can make a difference.
Depending on if the leg is broken or not, the time for healing will vary. We have had a dog with a broken leg and it healed just fine. He was in a splint for some time, and just like a human it will act up with the weather, but other than that he is a normal dog. At least by taking the dog to the vet, he/she can prescribe some pain pills to aid in the relief for the dog.

Did you take her to the vet 3 days ago for the leg or did 3 legs get hurt seeing she's only walking on 1??? If it just happened kind of massage it and see if it just needs to be walked through, you know like when we twist an ankle or bang our legs it takes a little bit to start using it. If it happen 3 days ago and your vet did tell you what the diagnose (broken/sprained)I'd get a second opinion.

The vet probably has 24 hour answering service. Call them now! They can tell you what to do.
If the vet doesn't have 24 hour service. Look up the ASPCA or SPCA in your city. They should be open 24 hours.

If your dog's leg looks abnormal don't you have the slightest thought that it could be broken? If your child fell from the high chair and their leg didn't look normal would you take him/her to the emergency room? If you haven't done so already(I hope you have) take the dog to the vet. Do all dogs a favor, don't EVER get another one since you don't seem to be able to answer this ????? yourself!!!!

okay my brother threw a baseball at my puppy's leg once before and my puppy was limping horribly so my mom put her into the crate for a bit. turns out her leg was terribly sore not broken. so what you need to do is moniter the puppy and place him some area where you can give him constant supervision. if after about a day or so his condition is not improving and the leg begins to swell you need to take him to a vet no exceptions!! though if his leg was broken i don't believe he would be able to limp.

Why can't you take him to the vet? If you can't afford medical care for your pet, give him to someone who can take care of him properly. And why was he up on a high chair anyway?!!

take him to a vet or an emergency animal hospital. I don't see why you can't take him. You could get in serious trouble and that could be considered animal cruelty.
