My dog isn't really all active around other dogs. I think that If I get him to '***' around dogs, then mabey he'll get used to being around them.

I don't know what's going on, but today... out of nowhere, my betta has jumped out of his bowl twice. He's trying to die, and I don't know why.

I just cleaned his tank, but he's never done this before? I'm so confused, andLast time I caught him it was almost too late. What do I do to make him stop?

I need to get rid of red slime "algae" (cyanobacteria) in my marine acquarium. I have tried ChemiClear and Eurythromycin and it keeps coming back. It now appears to be resistant to both those treatments. Anybody have a good treatment? I have invertebrates in the tank so any treatment would have to be safe for them.

For the first time in two years I saw one of my cockatiel's sitting on the other's back. They were making funny sounds and it lasted about 3 minutes. Winter is about to start, but we had a few warm days in Taiwan. Can someone tell me if my birds actually tried to make babies? I know something about birds, but this is a first for me.

my dogs chew up my house when i leave them in and if i put them in the back yard they dig under the fence. we fixed the digging under the fence but now they dig random huge holes in the yard. and bark at the neighbor and really piss him off i think he keeps trying to poison them they keep getting sick so i need to be able to keep them in.

A lot of people obsess about only buying the best dog food. I often wonder what you feed your human kids? Do you fill them up with junk food or only seek the best food for them? What about smoking around your animals and your children? That is the worst kind of poison for your kids and for your pets. It doesn't take a genius to figure out how bad that is. Sometimes I think we have our priorities out of whack.

i filled out a application for a dog at the local spca. they called and told me that they had some dogs, but they had health problems. Am i wrong for not wanting the dog. ???? My reason is we suffered a family lost this year, and i don't think it would be fair to put myself and my kids through that if this dogs ends up passing away.

Yesterday when I woke up for school, I noticed my dog was more attached to me but I didn't pay too much attention to it because he went to my mom right when I left. But today, he was even more attached and he's barely eaten for the past 2 days. Also, I noticed that he hasn't been sleeping as much because I'll wake up at 3:00 to study and he'll be awake just looking at me. Now, he'll sleep and get up out of no where and cry for a bit and then lay down. He's also frightened easily. I tried taking him out to go do his business also and he just ran and hid under a chair and thats where he's been most of the day today. I know he's trying ot tell me something, but does anyone know what could possibly be wrong before I spend all my money at the vet?

I'm trying to get my cats on a feeding schedule twice a day. They're all supposed to eat about a cup of food a day, but none of them is emptying their bowls at meal time. I just started this so I understand that they may just not be used to it, but is a half a cup of food too much for one meal for a cat (the smallest is about nine pounds, the largest fourteen)

Confusedbuthappy askedus to tell her what small pets we keep and what we keep them in. She then turned her question into a website of information for small animals and their upkeeping. In this section, one of her points was to advise not to keep Guinea Pigs and Rabbits together in the same cage. When I was little we had an outdoor enclosure which was about 8 square metres and we had 2 rabbits and 2 guinea pigs living in harmony. They shared the same little house inside the enclosure but were free to come and go as the please. We never had any problems with them, so why does confusedbuthappy suggest this?
