It all depends on how many pups she's delivering. The litter my pup came from was a litter of 10 and it took Mom 4 hours to deliver all 10 of them.

They go thru an early stage of labor where they are restless, looking for a place to have their babies. They won't eat or drink. Start digging in their bed. This can last several hours. After the labor really gets started the pups should come about every 40 min to an hr apart. Sometimes there may be longer intervals between the pups. Labor can last 3 hr or 8 hr depending on how many puppies are coming.
If your question was asking how long after the dog gets pregnant will she have puppies, the answer is about 63 days.

If it is one or two puppies, probably about 1 or 2 hours, maybe less. If it is a large litter, you are most likely looking at an all day and/or all night event.
Pups usually kind of line up and you will usually see 2 or 3 born fairly close to each other and then there is a break and they line up again.
One of my dogs had three pups and it took 2 hours.
Another had 9 pups and it took 12 hours.
Most fall in the middle somewhere, without knowing breed and expected litter size it's hard to narrow it down.

u never really know. It does depend on the type of dog and how many pups. I have a Pomeranian and she had a pup every 30-45 minutes. All together she had 5. Everytime we thought she had the last one - here came another.
At first she started panting REALLY HEAVY
U do need to b prepared if it's her first: mine did not want to deliver. I had to get down and bust the sacks. There are two. Sometimes the first rips on its own. The vet says to use something sharp. I used my nails (next best MIGHT be tweezers to give it a tiny tear and then pull).
I had to use dental floss to tie off the cord. Tie it in knots. U have to do it in two places (close together) and cut the chord IN BETWEEN THE TIES. Just like a newborn baby.
Clean them with warm towel. LAy them with mom, but watch her - they will eat their own. Do not touch pups unless she will absolutely have nothing to do with them.
