She has done this a few times (pooped, too) but only when we have a certain duvet on the bed. Otherwise, she never does this. What is this about???

It probably smells like a person she doesn't know or a cat she isnt familiar with. So, she's trying to "claim" it kind of.
Just don't use the duvet anymore. Not having to clean it up will definately be worth using a different one.

If it's only when you have a particular duvet on the bed, then the solution is really simple: get rid of the duvet. It's probably a bit stinky now anyway.

I had the same problem with my cat, She stoped peeing everywhere once I got her fixed. Also, some cats are very uppity about the litter box, some need it constently kept free of any "pottys" at all times, just the girl cats though the boys don't seem to care.

He may do this if he smells another animal on it or maybe even if it's down, just to mark his territory to "protect you". Unless maybe you had someone over or someone especially likes that blanket when they come over and leaves their "smell" on it (or from where you got it) - that he is jealous of. Or maybe he's just pissed at you. I hope you figure it out fast so he doesn't keep up the habit! Goodluck!

My cat once alays does its business on the toilet bowl. But after she saw me flush down the waste, she became afraid and only excrete on the toilet floor ever since. maybe your littter box has a problem or once someone allowed her to pee on the bed and maybe she liked it and has done that ever since?

sounds to me like your cats not happy about somthing..could be a small change in its surroundings..or maybe new litter?..cats are habitual creatures so if they start acting strangely that means somethings up..could be she just doesnt like the duvet but i highly doubt it...look around your place..somethings not right and your kittys telling you exactly what it is..you're just not hearing it
