my female siberian husky is pregnant again for the 3rd time in a row is it safe for a dog to get pregnant several times in a row? i think she might be in labor she has had all of the simptoms but no puppies yet does any one know why?

you may want to lock her up away from the other days inbetween breeding unless you are attempting to get her breed. I don't personally think its a problem, my old neighbor had a dog that pretty much did the same thing, but only twice then they seperated her during heat and then put her back. you may want to call a vet if your worried. its free if you just call!

Take her to a vet, especially if she might be or is pregnant, he can end the pregnancy, or safely deliver the pups, and spay her at the same time. Please stop being irresponsible and get her spayed! Its NOT healthy for a dog to be constantly pregnant, responsible breeders wait at least a year or two before the dog has another litter, and have no more than three litters in a LIFETIME.

It is not good for her to have babies every time she is in heat. She will probably be okay but it is hard on her body. It causes them so much stress. It would be like a woman having a baby every 9 months. She is probably just in the early stage of labor. I would watch her closely tonight. Have you taken her temp? If it is below 99, pups should be coming within 12-24 hrs.

Why is she pregnant "again"?
It sounds like this wasn't a planned pregnancy. You shoul ask a vet this question, and probably take her to the vet as well.
Also, if this wasn't planned, get her spayed! Dogs and cats are far too overpopulated already. If you want to be able to breed her, then keep her inside and away from intact males, especially when she's in heat.

Get your dog fixed please-there are plenty of pups in need of homes and if you aren't breeding responsibly then you are part of that pet overpopulation issue. There are loads of low cost spay clinics in the US.

Dogs were not meant to be puppy machines for their owners. Get the dog spayed ASAP!!! That is pretty cruel that you have let that happen.

i know it is not safe for her to continusly get pregnant-it could do great harm-even death. if you think she is pregnant and trying to deliver pups but not succeding-she may have serious problems due to her being continusoly pregnant- i would suggest going to your vet ASAP,this could be serious!!!

Spay or Neuter....???? Has this ever been thought of? You should get her fixed...if you can't afford it call your local humane society they can probabley help you.
