for the few people that made it seem like I abused her... all I did was try to move her from getting on something that she wasnt supose to be on, and pretty much did it clumsy... she fell, and I brought her to the vet... and the vet did all sorts of tests ... because I wanted them, not because the vet felt like my cat needed them... and she was fine

I used to have a cat that when I came back from vacation he would give me the cold shoulder for a day or so. she's just punishing you for hurting her, she'll forgive you sooner or later. the best thing to do is leave her alone until she comes to you.

Cats are very forgiving. I threw one out of the house once for eating a baby squirrel we had rescued. She didn't come back for two days and it was like nothing had ever happened when she did. However we now have a couple of rescue cats and one of them took a long time to accept me so she perhaps has a memory of abuse and associated men with pain. She accepts me now but still sometimes will crawl under the furniture if I stand up too quickly or come into the room suddenly..I think they remember sustained pain but quickly forget individual and occasional pain.

Yes she will eventually get over it. Just don't force it. Try to ignore her for a while. That makes my cat come. Like a bee to honey.
She probably is not upset with you as much as being taken to the vet and having all those tests done. Which is not a bad thing. You want her to be healthy.
When she is ready she will come and it will be like old times.

Yes she will get over it. It may take until she's no longer in pain and she will probably be scared of you for a few days but just keep trying to reassure her that you did NOT mean to hurt her. Accidents happen and she loves you, she'll get over it. Don't beat yourself up, we all make mistakes and have accidents. You're only human hun. You did everything right by her afterwards as well.

Oh yes, she'll get over it. She's probably already over it but because you are clearly upset, and probably making and extra fuss of her, she's going to keep it going as long as possible. They have good memories cats do. She'll be reminding you of the incident for years to come, whenever you do something evil like, go out, or don't feed her within 2 seconds of waking up, or not let her sleep on your favourite jacket.

Your cat should know you love her and will be back to her loving self in a few days when she realises you didn't mean to hurt her. Give her lots of fuss and treats and she will forgive you. Doesn't it upset you when you hurt your cat? It happened to me a few weeks ago and I could have shot myself. I was taking my washing up the stairs and my little cat Alfie got under my feet and almost knocked me down the stairs. So I picked him up to avoid an accident but with washing in one hand and the cat in the other, he managed to jump out of my grip and fell all the way down the stairs. I was so upset with myelf but he was fine and he forgave me a few days later.

She'll get over it but right now she just wants to make you suffer. Let her sulk for a short while and then go make amends with her, offer her her favorite treat or bring her her favorite toy or something to show her you are trying to say I'm sorry and to kiss and make up. Then give her lots of strokes and hugs and kisses. And if she gets up on whatever it is again, pick her up again and gracefully put her on the floor (saying a firm "No" so she knows she's not supposed to be on that whatever).

Yes, it may take her a little bit, but she'll forgive you. When my sisters cat went on a plane for the first time, she spent the first two days in under the bed, but eventually came out. Now shes her usual self.

She will. I stepped on my cat once, and he was pissed for a few days. I felt like a piece of dirt, and he knew it. But then he came up looking for a pet, and we got over it, lol.
God bless and Happy Holidays
