I had my birthday!!! Happy Birthday to me!! I got very cool birthday presents, jewelry, friendship bracelts, "littlest pet shop"(they are soo cute!) and anyway we had my birthday at my grandpa's ranch and it was very fun!! We just finished the treasure hunt and we were trying to try the lasso thing (which I am soo good with it that I had to teach my rookie friends) and then we watched my grandpa on his beautifull palimino run in this coral with a sadled POA Pallomino (that would be my guess . . . POA stands for ponies of america- they are tiny!!:) runing around. me and all of my friends went on the tall gate to watch. My grandpa came up and asked me if i wanted this horse, with his head pointing to the POA... i readily said yes. but then people kept shooting me with the question of what should I name him?

I have no idea. help!

We have a weanling paint colt, and we haven't decided if we should geld him or not. He's an awesome cremello color, and a tobiano, which means he will produce a duilite and white foal always. We thought maybe we should keep him as a stud for our couple mares. Get a few babies out of him.
Just looking for opinions.

My cocker spaniel puppy's ears hang in his water dish and food dish and the bottoms of his ears get soaked! If its after her eats, they smell really bad and i have to wash them. Does this happen to anyone else who has a long eared dog? Is it just because he's a puppy and perhaps his ears are proportional with his head yet? I've tried a puppy headband called a Snood...but he pulls it off. Any ideas?

Okay I'm trying to find a wet (canned) food for a new dog I just got. She is a Pit Mix and she is only about 1 month old. She has trouble with dry food even the little bites so I've been buying her Pedigree. The problem with it is that I don't like the way it makes her poop. It's very watery and messy. I feed my Chihuahua Cesar and I love the way it makes him go...it's always very solid but I would go broke if I bought a large breed Cesar food. haha. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what food would be good for solid, non watery poop?

I took her to the vet a while back and he said she had hay fever. He gave me Malotic to apply to her neck and that cured it for awhile but now she's re-opened the raw spot. Any suggestions?

Please read my other posts because a thousand words is not enough to ask the question and explain. I have 4 indoor cats and the one has the earmites and is lethargic, the other one has been sleeping a lot more than usual. They both are sleeping way more than usual and are not themselves. I had Melvin's ears flushed on Friday and he still hates to have his ears or head touched today. Please read post number 3 about the vet advice that I received today. Yes, cats do sleep a lot, but it is not normal for these 2 cats in particular. They are buddies, could the younger one ( oliver) be depressed because the older cat with the mites is not feeling well?

How do I do a follow up to a past question that I asked without having to type the entire thing again in a new question? There are not enough words to explain the first time, let alone explanations in response to suggestions on here.

Thanks much

Could you have a goat as an inside pet? Could you teach it verbal commands, and stuff like that, or can they only live outside? Thanks in advance.

This post is the third in a series involving Melvin and Oliver. I called the vet this morning that diagnosed earmites only in Melvin. I told them that both cats were still sleeping a lot and that I wanted to bring them in. The vet was on an emergency call and I was told that I could bring them in and they would try to observe them over 2 or 3 days. If I take them in, I want them to be looked at while I am there and/or tested for such things as Fe. Leukemia or FIV. There are only 2 people in the office on a regular basis....the recep. is always busy, in fact probably too busy to phone me to tell me when the vet returns to the office from the emer. call. I can observe the cats at home for free! Oliver is a little perkier today, Melvin is about the same. He is still not liking his forehead touched and is still shaking his ears. if I had bugs in my head, I may lay around a lot too. I go back and forth with the worry. Another vet suggested the tests that i mentioned. Thoughts?

I heard meat tenderizers can stop puppies from eating their own feces, but I'm not sure where to purchase it. I've tried petco but they don't carry it. I live around SF. Thanks.
