I purchased a new puppy, had him for 4 hours, and saw worms in his feces. I returned him to breeder, 1 week ago, and now she says she "saw" the puppy pass a 3inch worm, but she still sees the rice like in poop. I have chronic illness myself, and cannot risk him still being sick. But, he was a great little puppy, and if he is well, i would like to try again. But I was so icked out as well, that I NEED to know he is well. Can anyone PLEASE help me? Thank you!

How do you make new born puppys you know poo and pee? I heard you have to put some warm water on a cotton ball and whipe the genitals.

she is on medicine but this is now the 3 time in 3 months that this is happening. I wonder if surgery is really the answer. I hate to put her down because we love her so much. We are starting to be overwhelmed with the money she is costing us. We have kids that are gonna get sick soon with the weather so we will need money for them soon also so it is charge, charge, charge.?????

My year old male cat will scratch everything but his liter to cover up his poop, including the wall and carpet. He never manages to cover up his poop, which disturbes him because he keeps smelling it, then trying to cover it up. He never manages to cover it up. I always have to pick it out after every dropping because of the bad smell. Has anyone else had this problem with their cat? How did you fix it?

Hello! I've always wanted a Chihuahua, and with recent changes in my life, need/want a companion. My problem is that I live in a small apartment and work the "night" shift - from 7pm till 3am. This means I wake up around 2pm, have 4 hours then leave for work at 6pm, get home around 3:30am, then have 2.5 more hours of awake time and go to sleep at 6am.

Is this enough time for/fair to a dog? I can wake up and play with it/love it/walk it, but of course I also have to do regular stuff (shower/food/etc). Then leave it alone to go to work, and the upstairs neighbors are home making noise walking/running/dropping things. Then I can play with it more when I get home, but then it's time for bed.

Will it be ok with this? I don't want it to be upset or get bored or go crazy because it's alone and the noise upstairs. My situation unfortunately, isn't changing anytime soon. I love pets, and if I get one, I will definately pick up a training course to do it right! What do you think?

i bought my rabbit, Zeus, 2 weeks ago from a pet store. i have been keeping him in my cats cage for the past 2 weeks because i cant afford to buy a rabbit hutch yet.
i am always playing with him and taking him outside on a harness, around the yeard and around the block. he has been eating OK and drinking a little bit now and then. i didnt buy him a mineral lick as they didnt have any in stock when i bought him and forgot to buy another one later.

the past 3 days he has had BAAAAAAD diarrhea - the cage is full of it and i have to clean it evry 2 hours.
he has stopped eating a lot and only drinks. i have to wash him because of all the diarrhea in the cage and his fur smells and is going all yellow brown from the diahea.

i cant take him to the vet because mom says that he is fine and she wont take me.

WHAT IS WRONG WITH ZEUS??? HOW CAN I TREAT HIM AT HOME???

SHOULD I TELL MY MOM TO TAKE HIM 2 THE VET SOON?
WILL HE DIE?

i love Zeus and i cant let him die.
from aly

I am having a problem with my next door neighbour ( he keep`s reporting us to the council for thing`s we are not doing ) The council know he is making thing`s up because he was reporting thing`s to them whilst we were on holiday ( this is how the council sussed him out )
Now he has bought 4 pig`s and built their pen right up against our fencing and the smell is unbearable now ( it will be worse when the summer comes )
My husband wants to get rid of them , what is the best way ? any idea`s ............ We live in the northeast uk !

think that she knows that she belongs to me and that I am the one who loves her the most. I always bath her and care for her, put her into bed at night time but my mum takes her for walks in the morning and that is one of her favourite things to do, and she barks at the door all morning until she can go. My mum said that she thinks mum is her owner, I don't want her to think that. What do you think that my dog thinks?
