think that she knows that she belongs to me and that I am the one who loves her the most. I always bath her and care for her, put her into bed at night time but my mum takes her for walks in the morning and that is one of her favourite things to do, and she barks at the door all morning until she can go. My mum said that she thinks mum is her owner, I don't want her to think that. What do you think that my dog thinks?

I also tell her off when she has done something wrong, I smacked her on the nose when she chased a car. Will this make her think less of me?

Dont think that way, im sure your dog loves both you and your mum, if you spend special time with your dog it will love every moment, just because she loves walks with your mum does not mean that she doesnt like doing things with you... she probably loves getting pampered by you... just remember tell her that she is a good girl and make her feel comforable around you... and dont be affraid to disapline her either, just not too much... make sure your mum scolds her for things that she does wrong too... just make sure its not too much!
