Big leafy greens are good for bearded dragons like Green Leaf lettuce or Kale. Try and steer away from iceberg b/c it lacks a lot of the nutrients that are present in other types of greens.

Collard greens, mustard greens, turnip greens, try to steer clear of iceburg lettuce and even romaine, it doesnt have much nutritional value. Carrots, celery, bell peppers, coliflower, broccoli, summer squash, cucumber, zuccini, parsley, cilantro. beardies can eat pretty much anything you find in the veggi isle exept avacados, they are lethal to reptiles.

If you find that he doesnt want to touch veggies with a ten foot pole, experiment with fruit. Give him a piece of banana or apple, if he loves it, then put small pieces mixed with the veggies, that way he will taste the apple on the greens and eat them up. Beardies need more veggies as they get older, so getting him to like them is important. But remember, fruit is more of a treat, so don't give him too much. Just a little to wien him to veggies.

My 8 year old beardie only eats crickets once a week now! As he got older, he just started eating less and less crickets and more veggies.

I would avoid carrots to some extent, you can feed them sometimes but not all of the time, as bearded dragons are susceptible to vitamin A toxicity as with most reptiles it kills there liver....as far as other things that they shouldnt eat, include....spinich, it has peptides in it that block the absorption of calcium! as far as greens go thats all i can think of that the shouldnt eat, everyone else has covered the stuff thats real good for them, just figured i would tell you whats not good for them. when it comes to bugs that are bad for them, fire flies, box elder beetles, millipeeds, and centipeeds top this list, followed closely by ants....the first 4 because of nuero and hemo toxins in there body that will kill your beardie, the latter because ants 'venom' is actually formic acid that can rot away the mouth of your critter!

Leafy lettuce is always good, they'll gobble that up =) I've even seen pet stores giving slices of cucumber once in a while too
