Death is rarely scheduled. Depending on the lifestyle a house rabbit can live to be 8-10 years old. Unspayed females have an 80% cancer rate. Outside rabbits live shorter lives. http://www.rabbit.org

Hi Sophie h..... have found some info for you....enjoy your bunnies !!!

Rabbits make excellent and friendly pets, but they can bite and scratch if nervous. They are now the third most popular pets in the country, after cats and dogs. They are very sociable animals, and need company. Male rabbits can be aggressive, which can be reduced through neutering. Two un-neutered males will fight if kept together, and a male and a female will produce lots of babies! Two females can get on well, or a rabbit can share a run, but not its accommodation, with a guinea pig. There is never enough space for a rabbit, so make sure you have a large area it can use, or consider having a 'house rabbit'. Rabbits need lots of food and exercise, as well as regular cleaning. They live for 8-12 years, and can reach sexual maturity between 16-24 weeks. The female has between 4 and 12 babies each time, with an average of 7 each time.
