And she dissappeared for over a week! I was scared to death thinking she got hit by a car or something, then she shows back up, filthy, and with something that appears to be either a very deep sucking tick or a cut under her nose. Besides giving her a bath, what else should I do? She's been spayed but I'm not sure about rabies vaccinations, she got shots during a happy kitten checkup, but not sure what...any suggestions?

My fish was suffering from a floating desease, Which after checking websites and Yahoo answers, it was confirmed that my fancy goldfish was suffering from Swim Bladder. After reading a question, i found a cure and it seems to be working. After looking at my fish again, i found black dots. Not finrot, some fungal thing. I left to the petstore and found a goof-proof tablet cure for numerous deseases that your fish can have, goof-proof meaning that if my fish does not have fungus or anything he will be unharmed. I grabbed a carton of freshwater fish deseas curing salt, and back home i did as I read. I removed His tank mate, (i don't breed but it cost less to house 2 fishes in one spacious tank, then pay for 2 spacious bowls.) I put the other in a hamster traveling case, about 1 foot high and 1 ft. and a 1/2 long. I gave tablets to both fish, just in case, and now the sick one is able to resist the urge to flop over when he comes up for air, and his spots are clearing up!

Ok, so my dog has been licking himself (paws, butt, everything else) on my new micro-fiber couch and now the couch stinks so bad it's all I can smell in the house when I get home. It's not urine or anything else, just dried dog saliva.

Is there any product out there to neutralize that funk? Home remedy? Anything? Please help!

Recently, an owl has been spending time hooting at night in our neighborhood. My dog had never heard an owl before, and his hair puffs up and he begins barking and growling. Last night, there was an owl hooting sound on the TV and he began growling again!! Has anyone ever heard of this? What could cause him to hate the sound so much?

Just recently I've noteced that my black lab (5months old) has this green guck in both of his eyes. That tells me its an infection or reaction of somesort, but it dosnt seem to bother him that much. The white part in his eyes is redish, but not bloodshot. More red that uasuall but not like the blood vessels have popped or anything. I plan on getting ahold of my vet a soon as possible, but hes out of town this week. I want to know if this sounds serouis to you guys. I personlly think he'll be ok till next week if the condition stays the same. If it gets worse I contact another vet. Let me know what you think. Thanks

His cat is 16 years old, not in good health, on medication. Does not have it in him to have her put down. very attached to it, but i'm sure will die soon. If shes stuffed, she will be around forever without the hassle.

Is their a test at the vet to tell?
We've not had her fixed because we DO want her to have babies first then we'll get her fixed. She goes outside a few hours each day for months now and still hasn't turned up pregnant.

I was thinking of getting a macaw, but after 8 wonderful answers from some of you at this board, i decided i shouldnt get one. Just because of the risk of getting bitten...horribly.lol. So im thinking of getting a cockatoo. My life is actually planned out. I run my own bussiness, and so i wont be going to college. Im 15 and when im 18 ill just continue on with my websites. So yeah, that issue is out of the picture. And I plan on only making one move to the east coast. I want a lifelong companion, such as a cockatoo.Id love to hear from owners!=) The reason i was thinking of getting a macaw rather than a cockatoo, is because they just seem more predictable when theyre going to bite. Costs are a problem, im fully aware how costly parrots can be. But would you reccomend a cockatoo instead of a macaw? thank you all. god bless.

I have a one and a half year old english bull dog, he's been potty trained for more than a year now and all of a sudden he's been going #1 & #2 in the house when we're gone at work even though we leave the back door open so he can go outside and do his business, is there any explanation for this and a way to make it stop? I know you're only supposed to punish a dog if you can catch them in the act or right after so it makes it very hard to do anything besides clean it up when we get home.

If I leave she runs around the house crying for me,(which bothers my neighbor) not only this but she gets on top of the back of the sofa,(so she can see me out the window, coming home). This is also the cats place. I have had her for 9yrs. and I feel like she should be able to sit up there. That is not the only reason the main one is that Sandi (the dog) shedds alot worse than Babygirl.(the cat) Question, how do I keep the dog off the couch and still be able to let the cat on it

I have 2 yellow lab boys that are a year old that refuse to stop peeing in the house. I also have 3 other males and 1 female in the house. They get in trouble when they pee in the house yet they continue to do so. All over my leather furniture on the fireplace where ever they please. They get in trouble and go outside everytime they do it. They also go out more than enough times through out the day. I do not understand it at all. We have 2 other labs that were perfectly fine to house break and a begal as well. The maltease however is having the same problem. I am at the end of my rope with this they have destroyed my new house. Please Help Me!!!
