Ear mites need to be treated by a veterinarian. As far as the constant grooming, it seems to be a normal thing with cats. Mine cleans herself all of the time also.

Cats constantly clean themselves, so that might be normal. But since it's skin is itchy. It could be a skin infection or just dry skin. Try to buy some cat shampoo for dry skin and give it a bath. If that don't work, call the vet and see what they say.

Its normal for a cat to groom itself alot thats what cats do as for the ear mites. Do her ears have a foul ordor ? Does she scratch at her ears alot ? If so you may need to flush her ears with ear cleaner you can buy at any pet store. If your not sure take her to the vets it'll cost around 25.00 .

cats tend to be rather obsesive about cleaning but this sounds like she is doing it alot. check her ears, see if there is any discharge(brown blood like goop) that would indicated infection or mites, also try to brush back her fur and look for abnormal colours, dirt, or sores. Flea dirt(poo) looks like peper, but if you put it on a paper towel and wet it, it turns red-brown. I strongly recommend you stay away from pet store flea treatments and such, they are NOT safe, my cat nearly died because of them, she had to be put on steroids because she stopped eating and drinking, this happen VERY quickly...like 3-4 days. hope this helps and hope she is not sick.

relax! this is normal =]. she's just a neat cat, honestly. my cat was the same way as a kitten, and i took her to the vet to ask the same question- some cats are just like that! so no worries, your kitten is fine; he/she just likes keep her hair nicely patted down. if anything, you'll have the best groomed cat in the neighboorhood! =]

I don't think so. Grooming is usually a sign of good health. Ifs its really excessive a trip to the vet may help.

kitties are preeners, always cleaning and grooming themselves. seems like the cooler weather makes animals' skin drier than normal, just like ours. you can give her a little olive oil or tuna in oil to help her itchy skin..good luck and enjoy the little one..
