Our chihuahua was spayed when her pups were 3 hours old which is basically a total hysterectomy, so if she doesn't have her female hormones how can she continue to produce milk?

It doesnt matter what it is. pencils pens markers toilet paper toys etc... She is a toy fox terrier and is two years old. She constantly has to have somthing in her mouth to chew on and what ever gets chewed into bits gets swallowed. One of these days im afraid that something is going to get stuck in her intestinal tract. Ive found balloons and rubber ball bits and toy stuffings and rubber gloves on the front lawn during potty time.WHAT can i do to stop her from doing this? Ive tried raw hide, she just eats it and vomits it up later. she also chews on furniture but at least that isnt as bad as it was. ive caught her with tacts in her mouth. Shes like a 6 month old child or a goat. any advice to solve this problem???

I'm looking into adopting a chesapeake bay/chocolate lab male puppy, but have concerns how it will be with my 2 small grandchildren and 15 year old cat. Any feedback from owners who have good information would be appreciated.

I have cleaned his cage and am wondering if his bedding or food could be infected with bug eggs. The bedding is wood chips that were donated and who knows if beetles of other insects infested it. It looks clean and is dry, but any ideas? Is there a meidcine or something that will rid him of these? This is really gross but he doesn't seem to have a health problem. Any help would be great!

She weighs approx. 54 pounds. I have talked to my vet about her weight and he feels she looks good for her activity level...But, I think she still needs weight. Her hair coat is beautiful, she is growing and muscling out good, and you can't see any bones (you can slightly see her ribs)...But, she is not as good as she could be. I feed her Hundchen Flocken Puppy (Solid Gold) both wet and dry; this is the only food she will eat (she is a very picky eater). She will only eat approx. 3-5 cups of dry and 1 can of wet a day; mixed and split between 2 meals. I leave a bowl of dry out all the time. She is outside all day on the farm with me and comes in at night.

Any ideas?

My 11 week old bunny Bo has lost some nerve control in his hind liegs. He is being treated for e. cuniculi, a common rabbit parasite. I have read site after site to try & determiine what his chances are of regaining use of his hind legs so he can hop & play again. The vet does not really say, even though she has been extremely helpful. Does anyone out there have a bunny with this condition that has recovered?
