Very common feel good spots for cats... keep doing it for her since it makes her so happy.

I have a male cat that reacts strangely when I pet him there too. He starts biting into his front paw until I stop. Yeah, pretty strange. Must just be a real sensitive spot for some cats.

That's a favorite spot for a lot of cats. That's one of my male cats favorites. Skritching under the chin is another. My 22 yr old female cat loves that one.

Every cat has a spot that makes them act like that. Your cats spot just happens to be on her rear end ;)

My male cat does the exact same thing. He turns his head from side to side like a robot. I think it is just an itchy spot that feels good when it is itched.

She has a sensitive spot, just like how some people are ticklish and others aren't. I doubt it has anything to do with the fact that she is fixed.

I have two that do that, and they are just fat enough it's tough for them to get to that spot to groom, so they love it when you do it for them. Essentially, you're scratching an itch they can't reach. Normal as any cat ever gets!
