Both my cats are freaking out now and I dont know why. I came home from the store and one of my cats was sniffing one of the plastic bags, they usually do this, next thing I know, shes tearing, I mean TEARING around the house with the bag wrapped around her. I didnt see what happened but I have never seen her so scared! She ran up and down the hallway and ran into a chair once, my other cat was observing this and I think got run over once by her. I finally managed to get the bag off of her and there was cat urine in it, that and a couple wet spots on the carpet. She hid under the bed and hissed at me for about 20 minutes, my other cat was hiding in the kitchen and hissing at me too. What happened? Why are they mad at me? What should I do?

My betta fish has not eaten in about a week. I am really worried because he has no energy and basically just floats, tail up, on the bottom of the tank. He has been very aggressive for the past two months, blowing up trying to fight anyone that approaches the tank. I have only had him for about 6 months and have read that they can live 3-5 years. He just doesnt look well and i do not know what to do? Can anyone give me advice??

Well I'm thinking about getting my cat whos 4yrs. old a beutifal girl cat that i saw at the shelter. She is about 3 or 4 years old they think. So do you think I should go for it. I want him to have a mate, but I am worried that he might become sad that I have a new cat. She is really sweet. I saw her when I was there with my friend when she was getting a dog. I just fell in love with her. Also, how do I make them feel comfturabl when they meet? Thanks for your awncers!

My daughter,s cat goes potty in the toilet bowl, they did not know that he was capable of doing that. When she went into the bathroom she always found poop in the toilet bowl and she was always blaming her daughter for not flushing it, of course my grandaughter always said it wasn't her so, then she would blame her husband, of course he also said he wasn't the one that did that, until she caught her cat doing poop in the toilet. so the mystery was solved I wonder if someone else knows about other cats that do the same thing.

Yes the Vet sent my cat home with a catheter. It was stiched in, and he did have a stone that would not allow him to urinate. Being concerned I don't want the cat to hurt himself. the vet said that it was natural to let the cat take it out himself. please help.

A friend of mine has a puppy and she swears he had front teeth last week. Now there are none there. Will they grow back or is it more likly that the dog never had teeth and they are on their way through. It is a staffy puppy and she is about 13 weeks old.
Thankyou.

I adopted a 3 year old Jack Rusel/Shitzu cross named Charlie. I know that he was bought from a breeder, and his mom was a purebreed shitzu and his dad a pure breed jack rusel.

I've never met anyone who had a cross like this and am curious to what their dogs personality is like and what they look like? Have they had any health problems?

Charlie is mild mannered, not very hyper but looks like a really shaggy jack rusel.

I recently noticed that my puppy hates the dark! At night, when I take her out, I have to coax her out of the door into the dark. Once she is out, and done, she will shoot right back into this house.

I even had to move her crate into the living room (Where we keep a nightlight on) just so she wouldn't cry and bark everytime I turn off my TV.

So, is it possible that dogs could be afraid of the dark? If so, then how can I help her out with this problem?

I always have my dog on a leash. This is in a residential neighborhood (single family homes). Owner is very nice. She has 3 large rescue dogs. Last incident, she reimbursed me for the $340 vet bill. This time the dog again charged out of their yard,
as she had workers at the house. This time I picked up my dog as I knew what was coming next. As least it was just a one-tooth puncture type wound and I am treating it. I am fearful for what else this dog will do. We were very much minding our own busines, not in their yard. Do dogs distinguish between attacking dogs (out of the blue) and attacking people? There are lots of very young children on this street. I should be able to walk down the street with my dog and not worry, right?
