Wash your hands, rub the used bedding of the hamster on your hands, use a tube or a bowl to pick it up with & then try sliding it out onto your hand? works for me!

Try taking her out of the cage before handling her. My son's hamster will bite while in the cage, but is fine once she's outside the cage.

Well, what you need to do is just pet her in her cage for a while, and when she does not try to bite you then you can take her out. She probably is not used to you yet. Is she new?

try wearing some sort of glove while your holding her..and pet her with a bare hand..that way she will get use to the smell of your hands and won't be afraid later on

instead of picking her up by putting your hand over the top of her...lay your hands in the cage so she doesn't get startled and then just simple...slowly...and carefully scoop her up...it worked with my hamster
