The puppies have been to the vet and have been treated for 3 weeks. They are recovering. They contracted the ringworm (fungus) from a stray cat that came into our yard. My husband thinks we should just shoot them because no one will want them. They are Golden Retriever puppies and they are adorable. It breaks my heart that they may have to be put down.

I've been around horses my whole life, riding since i was two, and i can deal with english or western so i don't think it matters where i live. but maybe some of you have had the same problem. i know some bases have stables but where i'm from the horses have fields to graze and be free in all day. and i would just like to know if it would be a great deal of money for the stable and if horses get stressed out from being held in stables for long periods of time. of course i would ride every day possible and let him graze. but is it worth it to the horse??

though they are fed in totally different rooms, at opposite ends of the house, the kittens, as soon as they get a chance, go for the older cat's adult cat food. i have been trying to stop them just on general principle, because i don't think the older cat would like it if she finds them at it, but they outnumber me, they are faster and slippery too. so...
could this turn into a health problem for the kittens, and if so, any ideas to help me keep them off the older cat's food?

o - i should add they are about 4 months old.

I have been treating them for 3 weeks and they each have one spot which is cleared up but the hair has not regrown. I plan to tell the buyers and perhaps even offer them for free.

my kitten has had a stuffed nose for about 3 months now and when i pet her she always makes noise like she would if she had a cold. She always has boogies and I just feel like she might have a hard time breathing. I thought it would go away on its own, but it has not. What can I do to clear her cold?

I want to adopt a kitten but it has to be old enough to be microchipped due to frequent moving. How old is too young for such a service?

My cat just died a few days ago, and my husband and I are heartbroken. to ease the pain a little and help heal the wound we decided to foster a kitten until it finds a home. I feel mixed feelings towards this new cat, and feel like I have betrayed the one that is deceased. What would be a good way to memorialize her, and give her the respect she deserves?

I asked same of you for names for Chihuahua puppies thanks you for your help; I didn't need them after all.. The puppies born dead I don't understand why when we came back from the vet last week he told me that they all are ok, there were 3 of them, yesterday at 6:00 am she started the first stage... its Friday the vet is not working today I had to try and help her my self and the maid, she had her first on at 9:00 pm and the second one at 2:30 am and its 3:40 am now and we are waiting for the last one hopefully he is alive.. When she had them after eating the placentas and when I tried to get the puppy to help him birth she almost bet me...she never did that before she started to chow on his little hand and we distract her and took it away from her the second one we couldn't she is holding him, what should I do? Is she going to eat her dead puppy

But we moved into a new place about 2 months ago. and just recently (in the last two weeks) he has started pooping the the carpet in the upstairs hallway and in my office... why all of a sudden? we've been here for 1.5 months with no problems. nothing else has changed.

I just bought two baby hampsters, a boy and a girl. I know I have to seperate them, and I will. But what else can I do with them besides pick them up? Even that is a challenge! But does anyone play with them with anything, besides that exercise ball? They are so adorable! Thanx...

I have a fish that needs a bigger aquarium, but I'm afraid to move it to one because it will get larger...and then I'll never be able to move it.

If you agree with the above statement, then please email me at: dragonsbluefire@hotmail.com to sign a petition that will be sent to the authorities at NTRA (National Thoroughbred Racing Association) as well as all state racing commissions to reform the condition of America's race tracks. If the unnecessary deaths of our beautiful thoroughbreds, standardbreds and quarter horses due to poor track conditions and inhuman handling, such as drugging to mask the painful effects of injuries, disgusts you, then email me today and I will forward you the link to the petition.
