i have a hamster and it is a teddy bear hamster. it is the cutest thing!!! look under images for teddy bear hamsters and you will see what i mean.

Teddy's are the longhaired... Then there's dwarf hamsters... I think the "normal" ones were originally derived from the golden hamster. There're all kinds of colorations, golden, "polar bear" black bear, panda etc...

i dont know i know of 3 kinds though the teddy hampster, the dwarf hampster, and the normal 1 , yes i have had all three of em and i say the normal and teddy 1s are best, the dwarf 1 runs real real fast so u cant really catch it if i runs away. hope i helped =D
