assuming they are syrians yes they have to be separated by 1 mth or else pregnancy can result. there is a fence/play pen u can buy that sets on the floor and u can put them in it and watch them play - even sit in it with them. but watch em cuz mine climbed right up & out! can also do this in a tub-drain closed of course & no water.do u want care advice or just play advice? make sure the have biggest cage possible. mine has 3 connected cages! use tape on the lid of the ball cuz they often pop open. my gurl runs for 2 hrs some days. if they are chewing on the bars the ball solves that. they just want out. they enjoy carpeted stairs if u have ones that have walls beside them so they wont fall - not the banister/railing kind.

Get some of those baby waffle puzzle blocks and make mazes for them to run around in. You can also use empty shoe boxes, toilet paper rolls, or other materials to make your own mazes. You and your friends can time them to see who gets thru the maze first. Also, sit facing your friend and have your feet touching and let the little hammy run between you in the play area you made - just make sure he or she doesn't crawl over your leg and escape!

You can train them to sit on your shoulder... or on your head.
You can have them run through mazes, though mine always used to climb over the walls.
You can stick them in the plastic ball thingies and let them run/roll all around the house. Don't let them roam without the ball, I lost a Hamster that way. :( It ran under the washer and dryer.. and even when we moved the washer and dryer we never found him. We think he got out through the dryer exhost thingy that lead outside the house.
You can teach them to do tricks: Walk a tight robe; fetch penciles or pens; roll over (believe it or not), dance! (On their hind legs, usually while holding onto something to support themeslves up.) Climb up things!
You can hook up their little running wheels to a small power genorator and have them light up a ligh-balb when they run!
If you baught more of them you could harness them all up and have 100s of little hampsters pull a sled! LoL
Good Luck!

I make mini obstical corses for my Hamster. I put some pillows, books and other easy to climb objects in a strait line. Sometimes I have her just run around in a closed, harm free area. She really has fun. Sometimes Hamsters like to climb up your shirt. It tickles and is pretty fun. Or let them run around in the bed. Just make sure you keep a sharp eye on them, and clean their cages regularly to keep them alive and healthy! Give them food everyday, and fresh water. Hamsters also love fruits and vegies as extra treats.

NO. easily no longer. You describe your pal's hamsters as "larger ones" meaning you have not a clue what they are or that it ought to correctly rip the **** out of your dwarf interior an hour. Your pal can take the children to a puppy save or animal seem after if she will be in a position to't get anybody to take them.

Exercise balls are cruel to hamsters.
They love to run around the floor (just make sure hazards are cleared). They also like to run around on you. Some rodents like to climb stairs to. If stairs are to hard for them consider a ladder, and having at a diagonal angle.
