Greenies. But if you give your dog Greenies, make sure you supervise him so he doesn't swallow large pieces and get an obstruction. These can be fatal. Also, my dog likes baby carrots. They are good for him and great for his teeth and his breath. See if your dog likes them and try it out!

I would check the teeth first. Decaying teeth cause bad breath in dogs (people too). If all of her teeth are clean and white; no black teeth, brown build up on the teeth, or red & inflammed gums, I would move on to metabolic problems. Many diseases cause bad breath (just like in people). If there is nothing wrong there, I would look at the food. Many dog foods contain a lot of corn which dogs have trouble digesting. So that could also be the problem.
But, most commonly it is the teeth. Many people don't brush their dogs teeth and they just get nasty. So, start there.

I agree with Sasa I also brush my dogs teeth but get the tooth paste from a vet it works better... If you never brushed the dogs teeth before go at him slow like put the tooth paste on a brush and let him lick a little off of it a few times so he knows your not doing something bad... Good Luck :)

Get her teeth cleaned by the Vet. Then they have this new product, "the name eludes me at the moment, and I even have some of it" that you put on their teeth after the cleaning it protects them from future buildup that helps to cause bad breath".
The dog could have an infected tooth too causing this.

bad breath comes more from the stomach than the mouth. its a sigh of poor colon health. the dog needs a better dog food. try nutro's lamb and rice. its fantastic. chicken by products in most dog food means the beak, feet, neck, feathers, head! all the parts we wont eat and none of the parts we do eat. so no wonder it causes a sour stomach and fowl breath. ( all puns intended!)

You can try to brush your dog's teeth. Some dogs allow you to do this. Another remedy is to buy the special tartar control dog biscuits that have breath freshener in them. My dog won't let me brush his teeth, so I give him those and it works.
You may want to make sure her teeth are okay and that she doesn't have an infection causing the odor.
