I'm trying to breed my guppies. The first time I got 6, second time I got 3, the third time I got 18, and the fourth time I got 9. Thanks.

dozens!!! it crazy!! it is real cool to watch good luck :) the other guppies even the parents WILL eat their babies!! so only a few will make it if not given lot and lots of places to hide or put in a different tank untill larger...

I have had 150 fry survive out of batches of 200-400. If you are just beggining it sounds like you are doing good. (my first batch had 3 survive). I reccomend feeding micro worms to your fry. Then try BBS(baby brine shrimp). Overfeeding BBS can lead to swim bladder disease. Vinigar eel are also good to feed your fry. Go here to purchase some micro worms!! Like 30 to 50, but they get eaten by their parents.

the larger female body usally the more young i had some that were 3'' long and had as many as 21 young
