I'm hoping that you're saying you tried kibble. A lot of kibble is rolled around in oil or fat, or sometimes even gravy before it's bagged, so that it's more tempting to dogs.

LOL...Dog food is not made for humans to eat...Dogs love the the smell of dog food and it has all the vitamins and other things a dog needs to stay healthy...So ,If the companies are putting a
flavoring in the food...That will make the dogs want to eat different brands and I would pick a more expense brand with more good things in it,For your dogs health...

Dogs have a differnt sense of smell. Smell is linked taste, so it's probably safe to assume their taste buds are differnt.
A good question a friend always used to ask me, "If dogs have such a great sense of smell, why do they stick their nose right in the doodie?"

Dogs think licking their rear ends is ok too. I've tasted it too, I am sure its got to be better than butt taste. LOL That I will not do.
