my kitten has had a stuffed nose for about 3 months now and when i pet her she always makes noise like she would if she had a cold. She always has boogies and I just feel like she might have a hard time breathing. I thought it would go away on its own, but it has not. What can I do to clear her cold?

Take her to the vet because kittens get respritory infections and they can be fatal. Does she feel warm like a fever? After she is better or well you can use a snot -getter, that's what I call them. It's a bulb that sucks out the boogers and you can use an infant one if you can't get an animal one. Do it 2 or 3 times a day. I don't know how good she is but you can also use a human saline nose spray but make little squirts b/c she is much smaller than ppl. Wrap her in a towel to keep from getting scratched and it makes her easier to hold and to feel safer.Hold her like a baby using the left hand to hold her head still while you suck the boogers out. Talk calmly to her and pet her in between nostrils. Then do the spray very easily and try to keep her in that position a few min. or she will get up and shake and sneeze it out before it has time to work.If she chokes on it hold her upright until she settles down and then lay her back down. She could have allergies and this will help. I do recommend taking her to the vet now and get her well before you do any home remedies.I hope your bitty kitty gets well soon!!

Sounds like she's got an Upper Respiratory Infection, and this needs to be cleared up with antibiotics. If it has been going on this long, it isn't likely to go away on its own. Infections of this type are taxing on the immune system, and her body is probably worn out from trying to fight it off. She needs to see a vet, it's the only way to get rid of it. Do her the favor!

Take your cat to the vet and see that is wrong with it. 3 months is a long time to have a breathing problem.

Take her to the vet. They will most likely prescribe an antibiotic.

If you haven't already taken her to the vet, please do so. If the vet doesn't prescribe anything, I think they might have nose drops or something for cats to help.

Please take her to her vet. You're probably right, she may he having a harder time breathing than is necessary, and it may be nothing more than she has an allergy.
