Pets - 11 July 2006

I have two cats, one is very fat. We try to feed her a measured portion of food, and we play with her, or at least try to. She is very inactive, she would rather lay around and watch us running with a string! Any suggestions on how to get her to exercise?

get rid of spiders?, i live in a basement sweet, and i am clean, but it seems no matter what i do there every where, .. now im very creeped out by them , please help!!!

I have cleaned it and deodorized it several times so his scent is not on it, but he keeps peeing on it anyway. He does not pee anywhere else in the house, just on this particular chair. What do I do?????

I recently rescued a female great pyrenees about 3 months old from an animal shelter, she has 2 due claws on each back foot for a total of 6 toes. I was wondering if anybody might know why. Thanks.

My fire belly is great but I'm worried that the store hasn't been feeding her enough. I just got her so it's not me. I know how much to feed her, but do I add supplements? If you could send me pics of a well fed toad and a malnourished that would GREAT! Thanx!

this is for a 20 gallon freshwater tank with a couple of goldfish. I have been using a regular 15W light bulb but the whole socket, etc. broke and I'm wondering if I should replace it with a fluorescent bulb or just keep it as a regular light bulb. Thank you!

They are my life, my dogs. I love them like they were my kids because they are innocent in this world. People judge and fear what they dont understand and I wish the world would realize that this is the year 2006 and that our society doesn't need anymore ignorance than what we already have to deal with. I feel I should stand up for the dogs who can't speak for themselves. I wish we could only be as understanding as some of these dogs, always willing to give love and be loyal. I love my dogs!

i have an 8 week old puppy. she is currently eating purina puppy chow(dry food). i'm 20 years old and this is my first puppy...so i am not sure if it would be ok to feed her wet food and dry, as long as it is the same brand? i just don't think it's fair to make her eat the same food her whole life. thanks for the help!
