Don't grab the scruff of its neck. place one hand under its chest and the other hand under its butt. when you pick its up hold it close to you so it feels safe.

Guess who lost 10 more points than they expected! You triple clicked...
If they were small enough, I would hold their body in my hands and let it's head stick out through my fingers on a cold day, maybe let him sit on my hand and hold him with the other so he didn't fall into a suicide plunge from my hands. A larger rabbit, good luck finding out how, I never tried it :P. I found some rabbits under my stairs once and I brought them back to the forest behind my house. (that was before I moved)

I depends on how tame you rabbit is.
The best way is to grab it by the scruffof the neck (much like you would a cat) and then slide your hand under its back feet. It is very importent you support their back feet. Then hold the rabbit close to your chest. When you put the rabbit back into its cage, put it in backward and dont let it jump.
I hope this helps!

When you go to pick a bunny up you can put one of your hands over its eyes and use the other hand to scoop up the rest of its body, kind of pinning it to you, they are less apt to kick and scratch when you have your hand over their eyes.
