mines a cat because they are so cute, plus you don't have to take them out for walks instead you can have them on your lap to cuddle you.

We live in a three story apartment. Would a small poodle or pomerainian be good for us? Or do you have other recommendations? We have snow and rain quite a long time each year.

She is 5 months old and weighs 65 pounds.I usually give ur three cups of food twice a day but i am not sure if I am over feeding her or under feeding her.I have read about Saint Bernards being notorious for bloat.And that over feeding can cause it.So anyone know?

Im concerned because she seemed to not want to eat at first. drank some water and then vomited the bright yellow liquid. I've noticed for the past two days or so, that she has more muscle tremors at night than normal. We had an instance last year where we found 3 squirrels dead in our back yard on separate occasions. once we noticed the squirrel had a yellow substance on its mouth. I am worried that someone is intentionally poisoning animals and that my pet may have ingested some.

he refuses to eat any type of dog food ive tried. from purina to ol' roy. he wont eat it. i adopted him from an animal control center and i was told he used to be a farm dog, so that may mean they just fed him table scraps so hes used to human food. only, im not much of a cooker. im going to try kibbles 'n bits. maybe that'll have more of a homecooked feel? but also hes been sort of depressed... i try to exercise him as much as possible because he needs to gain back some muscle mass from being in a cage for the past few months and also neglected. but he still wont perk up. i was thinking of adopting another dog to keep him company, but im not sure if i can afford the expenses. oh and hes a black lab/britney spaniel mix... i just dont know?

Mommy duck and babies walking single file across the busy street is heart-warming. The mommy does not look to see what may hit her, she just looks straight ahead. They woddle in single file and they get smiles from everyone.
Did you have a heart-warming experience this week and what was it? We need to smile.

How can one help a stray dog? The SPCA in this country is up to maggots and means basically nothing, because of funds. The goverment would rather use the money to through parties and feed murderers. I can't take it home because I have already 5 dogs at home, and I also feel to bad just to leave it in the street.

how can i stop her from doing this. We play together and all the time she just wants to bite my fingers. I am trying to stop her from biting my fingers but everytime i say NO and push her away she thinks this is fun and comes back with a vengence. How can I stop her from doing this.

Does anyone have any ideas? He was fine earlier, and now all of a sudden his big pretty tail on his butt is less than half its original size!! I watched his behavior and he was turning sideways to reach back and snip at his own pretty tail!! What could it be??? How can I stop him? And will his tail ever grow back??

My cat started hissing at me about an hour ago. He was sitting in my lap and just wigged out on me. He looks at me like I'm trying to kill him, hisses, and runs away. Then he comes back, sits in my lap, is good to go, then wigs out again. What is going on with him???

My 2 dogs are almost two. The female dog is a little taller than the male. She's passed two heats already and everytime the male wants her, she turns around refusing any kinds of penetration, and wants to ride on the male instead. I've tried even holding on to both, but she still wouldn't cooperate. Is she too young?
