She is 5 months old and weighs 65 pounds.I usually give ur three cups of food twice a day but i am not sure if I am over feeding her or under feeding her.I have read about Saint Bernards being notorious for bloat. And that over feeding can cause it.So anyone know?

I own a 7 month old saint bernard and i feed him about 4 cups per feeding. I do not just feed dog food, my saint bernard gets fresh veggies mixed into his food once or twice per week, he gets raw meat and bones twice a day and i also mix leftovers into his food. My saint gets anything he wants and a whole fresh chicken is an awesome treat for them. Bloat is common on a saint bernard, and that is why it is best to feed the saint more than once a day so they will eat less at each feeding. After eating, do not let them gulp down the water, keep the water to a minimum for about an hour or so after your saint eats and this will help prevent bloat. Bloat is more common in the older saint bernard.

I feed mine anything he wants and he does fine, and at 7 months old he weighs about 100 pounds which he has come a long ways considering he weighed about 50 pounds at 5 months old. He was very neglected and not taken care of before i got him, now his coat shines and my vet says keep up what i am doing as it is doing him right.

She should be on regular adult dog food or large breed puppy food. Read the label on the dog food. There is always a chart by weight on how much to feed.
As for bloat, that is a problem for Danes also. I have always free fed my dogs. When started on free feeding, dogs stay thin and I've never had a bloat problem. They just graze during the day. If you want to try this, start by putting a cup of food in the bowl every couple hours. It takes a couple of days, but when they start leaving food in the bowl, then you know it is safe to leave food in the bowl.
Check out this website on acupressure. I keep it for emergency. If it works, and I hear it does, then if you ever have a problem with bloat, you'll be prepared.

With large breeds they need to eat a little more. I own 2 Boxers myself and I never let there bowl go empty. But also with the larger breed you have to watch out for what is called blot. This is were the food does not completly digest and they lay down after eating and so forth. This can kill them. So make sure that you walk him or her after the K-9 has ate.

Sound like you are not over feeding you dog. I wouldn't give her more than that though. As long as she is satisfied, you are doing OK.
