mines a cat because they are so cute, plus you don't have to take them out for walks instead you can have them on your lap to cuddle you.

Snakes! I'm an amature herpetologist. Snakes frighten those who don't understand them, but get to know one, like a Burmese python, or a reticulated phython, handle it a few times a week and it will never bite you. They grow quickly if kept in the right conditions and what could be more exciting than taking a 5 meter long snake around with you. Spiders, like the red kneed tarantula are also good pets as are iguanas. Every one has a ***** cat.

The only cat I would own would be a Cheetah and that's b/c they are beautiful and really fast. My favorite animal is a dog. I really like horses, too

My girlfriend adores Red Pandas. They are very racoon like but of the same ilk as the Giant Panda...truly beautiful. I on the other hand am fascinated by Wolves. My girlfriend bought me an interaction experience with wolves as a gift and it was a wonderful day. They were so trusting and gentle...I got to pet one of them as she lay at my feet...amazing. Wolves are very misunderstood.

I love tigers- not sure I'ld want one as a pet though. I have a giant African land snail called Barnaby, but he's a bit boring and will sleep for days on end

Best pets I've ever had were pet rats - really friendly and fun and once people got over their intial squeemish reaction they realised how lovely they were. One big downer is that they don't live very long (about two years).
