I have a kitten that is almost a month old, she's small and alittle boney, but yesterday she seemed extremely weak so I brought her inside to monitor her. She ate most of the food I offered and is being more playful and active, but still seems troubled and listless....please help!

Does anybody know what an adult dog's capacity is for understanding words? I have to spell certain words in front of my dog like p-a-r-k, g-o, r-i-d-e or he gets all excited and will drive me nuts running around barking and looking at me with expectant eyes. What words does your dog understand?

he's just shy of a year old and likes to play a lot... including biting my feet to get attention. it's all fun and play though.
he does like to bark at strangers whenever they come over to the house too. i'd like for him to stop doing that too.

My girlfriends family is from a rural town, where they seem to find it accepable to do thier own for of population control(they shoot the animals) just two days ago her grandmother shot a mother dog and three puppies, b/c she figured thier are to many animals around here, and she drowned like 20 kittens over the last year. I am absolutly disgusted, and If I had a way to prove it, I would turn her into the cops for animal cruelty, but I cant find proof, and I know my gf would be mad at me... I have approched the subject with them and no one sees a problem with it. The shelters are over crowded, and it is cheaper to shoot them or drown then, then to have them humanely Euthanized, or even be nuetered... What do I do, This has me all upset and in shambles.. but I dont think that the police would do anythign even if I went to them, there are only like 5 cops in the whole town.

I have 4 adults, and 3 kittens,or young cats, they were born in, March.
They have fleas.
I know the vetrenarian has flea killers and all, but at this time I can't afford them.
Is there another solution ? I also really don't like using chemical pesticides or what ever they put in flea treatments.
It may come to that.
I did bathe them, I had to, with flea shampoo for cats/kittens. It killed them, but they are back.
I don't want to go through That again. You cat lovers understand that issue.
What else can I do ? For my home too.
We also have allergies to chemical pesticides, like Raid for, "example".
So, what else can I use to kill and repel fleas, on my cats, kittens, and home ?
I do vaccume regularly, but it's not enough.
Roatches too, (this is Florida there are many kinds, big and small, large wolf spiders too, I Hate them)..
Floridians,( as myself), answers are best, but I am always open to answers.
Borix acid, no good, at least it hasn't worked for me.
Help....

My friend's kitty, has been throwing up a lot, he's only 2 years, he's lost a lot of weight too. My friend used to live in my building, now about 4months ago, he moved into a house, the kitty went from always being inside, to know being out all the time. I love that cat, I don't have my owm, so he gets all the love I want to give to a kitty, I would be so heartbroken if anything happened to him, do you all think he's ok, is puking normal, is he maybe having a hard time adjusting to his new home, please help, I would never want to lose him.
thank you all for your answers, God Bless:)
