The tank is clean and has a filter. We use distilled water. We also put in extra water conditioner.

Is it safe to give my 3 month old kittens Hartz once-a-month wormer (Piperazine Adipate) for ringworms? They did have tapeworms and I gave them medicine for that but want to give them this just in case they got it too or as preventive maintenance.

Btw, I purchased this from the 99 cent store.

She does not want to spend time with the kitten. Is this normal? What should we do. If we leave her in the room alone and get out of sight she will claw at the door and meow like crazy. If we are in the room she lays down on the floor and wants to be petted. She only stays in the box with the kitten for less than a minute at a time. We called the vet but they said they will call us back.

3 days ago and she is sick. She didn't have great energy even Day 1, but we were hoping she was just calm. She really didn't dig into her food like a hungry puppy, but we were happy that she was drinking well. Last night she stoppped eating and drinking, was lethargic, runny eyes and nose, and had a dry cough, heavy breathing, and frequent gagging and bringing up mucousy stuff. My vet says, distemper, or pnemonia. Vet doubts kennel cough only because she looks so sick and has chect congestion and heavy breathing. Getting the total run-around form the pet store. PLEASE GIVE ME SOME IDEAS! The pet store says they will treat her and giver her back when she is "better". We lost our 15 year old yellow lab last month and our hearts are breaking! Our vet said just the work-up to see what is wrong is $600. Any advice would be so appreciated. Thank you!

I currently have a friend whose trying to buy a bald chinese crested. For those who don't know, these are the ugliest rat dogs on the planet. I've already told her that their ugly, but I need some harmless threats to help motivate her in the other direction. I wouldn't ever harm a puppy, but I just like throwing out lines to upset her about it. hehehe.

I found in the classified ads adult male Cocker Spanials for $80. That is exactly what I want is an adult male Cocker Spanial. The only downfall is it's 2 hours away. My husband doesn't want to drive there on the chance that we might not be interested. Would you drive 2 hours to look at a potential dog then 2 hours back home? Should I just wait for one closer to home? Is $80 a reasonable price. We don't have a ton of money. Thanks

my pomeranian has a ruptured anal gland. We went to the vet & he gave him a shot. Is my dog in a terrible amount of pain? Is their anything I can do for him? I have had him for seven years & have never heard of an impacted anal gland so anyone who reads this please help your poor baby before it's tooo late!!!

My cat was fine yesterday. He was active and could see fine. This morning I found him in the lawn in what seemed like a sedated state. Limp but purring. I took him to the vet and found out that he is blind but they don't know why. No external sign of trauma. I live in eastern Pennsylvania.

Is there a natural food for cats with stuvite crystals which recently have been removed. The vet wants her on Feline c/d which has by-products and I really don't want her to have but I don't want her to get crystals again either. I thought maybe there would be a specific natural food for stuvite crystals.

my boyfriend recently got a 9-month old beagle for us and I noticed a scar on her belly that starts about 2 inches from the bottom of her rib cage and is about 3 inches long. i think its a spay scar. my bf told me she wasn't spayed but i think he just forgot to ask the guy he got her from.
