toss this bag; for future reference, a plastic trash-can, NEW [never used for anything else!], sitting in a "moat" of water in a shallow pan or lid or what-have-U, is a safe & simple deterrent to insects.
keep the can tightly closed!!
& roll the inside bag down; don't dump the bag-full into the can "bare". the bag acts as a shrinkable 'inner-lining' to prevent staling; dogs won't eat stale food as readily, & the hot temps in the garage mean that the food is somewhat damaged for freshness anyhow,...

They make special dog bowls w/ a rim around the edge that is filled with water. That way the ants won't get to the food. But I had the problem here when I kept the bowls outside. So now I feed indoors and immediately take the food up after he has ate so the ants don't get a chance to find it.

Are you asking if you can salvage a bag of ant-filled dog food? No. That's happened to me before, the ONLY thing you SHOULD do is throw it away and purchase a new bag of dog food.

Just throw it away. Next time you can set up ant bait or spray for ants before you put the dog food in there. Just make sure the pesticides don't contaminate the dog food.

I think you should throw it away because even if you did find a way to get some of the ants out, theres like no way to get them all out.

Throw it away IMMEDIATELY.
Spray the area for ants, and make sure you put the dog's food in a different area than were you had it before.
If you keep having problems, use a non-toxic spray and spray the area and then put the dog's food down.

Throw it away and get a new bag and maybe invest in a dog food keeper (In the pet food section aisle) - they are plastic container and work great.

Throw it away. Next time, to avoid all of this, put the new food, once it's opened, into a sealed, airtight container. This will keep out pests and help preserve the food longer.

Throw out the bag, wash the bowl with hot soapy water, and next time use a rubbermaid bin or something with a lid.
