It is probably the turtles excrement. Their fecal matter is sometimes white. Just clean his tank, put fresh water in there, he will be fine. Make he gets some direct sunlight, but also has shaded areas too.

It could be some kind of fungus. You should ask your vet or do some research. You should get a filter. If you can't, change the water twice a week. Also, use some water conditioner made just for reptiles.

That can be many different things... and it often occurs because you should have something agitating the water surface, like a current from a filter. It looks nasty, but it does not harm. If you don't have a filter, I recommend you buying one which will make your hobby more enjoyable.

You should change the water maybe that's what it is......Its white mold it happened to me before. You just take it out with a paper.

how often do you change the water?turtles are very dirty little buggers.the aquascape should also have filtration, this helps to cut back the number and frequency of water changes.

Do you have a filter in your tank?If you don't then GET ONE.Turtles are quite messy animals and their tank gets gross pretty quick!
