hi there, i have had a lot of experience regarding dogs and i haven't heard of "sweet rash" i know horses can suffer from "sweet itch" . anyway the only person to give you a qualified diagnosis is your vet. pop your pal along to the vet and they will sort you out in a jiffy! BUT if all else fails you can get tea tree oil shampoo or the pure t/tree in a bottle from holland and barret. it is antibacterial. antiviral and antiseptic, does not sting when applied, keeps ALL parasites OFF keeps children and animals alike free from nits and other horrors! you can also get it from the qvc shopping channel or qcv.co.uk and you can send it back within 30 if you don't think it works and they will give you a refund , no questions asked! any way sweetheart do try your vet and get a professional opinion hope this helps bye .

I've raised a lot of dogs and have never heard of "sweet rash" , but perhaps a sweat rash. Try putting a little Vaseline on the area about once a day. If the rash is circular it could be ring worm which is not really a worm, but a fungus. You can treat that by adding a tablespoon of bacon fat per day to the dog's ration and applying Lamisil of some other anti-fungal foot medicine to the area for several days. It should clear up soon if you follow that advice.

I think you mean sweat rash, right? If our doggie has a bad rash, try giving him one dose of Benedryl. My dog gets the hives sometimes (she's allergic to grass of all things) and Benedryl works every time.
