You can get a little folding dog water dish that you can carry with you. Just pour some from your bottle into the dish to share. I got mine at the dollar store.

Dogs mouth is cleaner; he may not want to share with you.

But you can trick him. Make him think that you're drinking from another bottle.. j/k

Seriously tho.. teach your dog to drink from a bottle with a push pull type cap on it. Hold bottle upside down and let him lick from the cap end as you squeeze the bottle.

Then when it's your turn, unscrew the cap and drink right from the bottle.

You can also do the folding water dish thing.. but I just hate having another thing around to remember to bring.

Usually though, we just each bring our own water bottles.

I take along one water bottle, but I also take a disposable platic cup and pour the bottled water into the cup for my dogs to drink from.

Try any water bottle you can pour or squeeze from, and a small foldable dish that you can fit in a pocket or backpack. The following links may be helpful:

It is like a doggy camel back. The dog carries it like a backpack and it has a setting so you can suck the water out of it or pour it into a collapsable bowl (they sell those too) for the dog.
