I have had a mixed dwarf rabbit for about 1.5 years now and he doesn't behave like I hear other people's rabbits do. He HATES to be picked up (even to have his nails cut), he doesn't like strangers in the house, and in fact he really doesn't like anyone but me to pet him. My boyfriend works at the zoo in an amusement park, and their rabbits are very friendly and docile. Is my rabbit's behavior abnormal? Should I have socialized him more as a bunny ? Did I do something wrong?

The vets and trainer we worked with haven't offered much help, just telling our family to try to be very quiet and low-key around her. They have said it is a personality characteristic in her, and no medical or other treatments were recommended. She is 7 years old, is spayed since before age 1, yet has ALWAYS "tinkled", aside from relieving herself in the yard. She is submissive, especially around me (I'm the Alpha Female, I guess), and will leave a spot of urine when she sits or lays. She will also urinate, seemingly purposefully by squatting, when excited (for example, we can't get the leash out in the house, and have to be ready to mop up when friends she knows and likes come to visit). I cannot keep up with cleaning nor possibly locate all of the urine from carpets, floors, blankets, her kennel, and wherever else she rests. HELP!!

My beagle mix Sadie loves to lick my legs, toes, arms, etc. Why does she do this? Does she like the salt on my skin, or is she trying to appease me, the more dominant animal?

I have a Mitred Conure parrot. It loves my boyfriend. This bird kisses him cuddles his neck. ALWAYS steps up on his hand. He squacks when my b/f leaves the room. He is much less found of me. He rarely steps up on my hand shacks his head lowers his break and sqacks at me. He will take food from my hand. He has only bite me once kinda hard "never broke skin". hE'S A GREAT BIRD we have only had him a few weeks. He is 15 years old,the person who had him became to old to care for him. He trys to nip at every female person we have had around. He gose to males without a fuss. Qustion is is this normal for a bird to pick ONE person only to bond with? I need him to come to me i'm the one who is alone with him the most. My bf is not here everyday. What can i do to get him to be more friendly to me. He will come to me only at about 8:30 at night to go to bed, he is loose all day only caged 8pm to 8am. He makes more noise when my bf is around also he gets very excited.

Okay, I have a german shepherd/husky mix and a fox-hound that are constantly running away. We dont live near any big highways or roads but it still worries me.

They jump the fence where they can and climb where they cant. We've tried chaining them up but they're strong enough to break out of the chain or slip out of the collars.

HELP!

It has been a long time since I had a pregnant cat and don't remember how long they are pregnant, and how you know when they are almost ready to have babies. It seems like my cat has been pregnant for quite awhile but she doesn't look big enough yet to be ready to deliver. Do their nipples fill before they deliver or after? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Anyone who is interested in getting a turtle should do proper research. It is ridiculous how many people get turtles for pets and don't know the proper set up and care for a turtle. If you have access to this to read and ask questions, then you have the ability to type something into google and get some answers. PLEASE do your research before you take on such a challenge.

I know this from experience.

Well...How much do you feed your dog(large breed) everyday?! I have a golden retriever, he is 9mnths old- 68 pounds, and I feed him 2 cups a day..i.e 1 cup in the day and 1 in the night, also he gets two cups of milk (2%) along with his food...Is this a right amount or am I feeding him less. How much do you feed your dog and how many times a day?!

P.S: He is eating Eukanba food until now, but am gonna replace it with it Pedigree...coz it has more flavors!!
